Ordered 1 dish of food for 3 people because the portions were big but got charged for 3 dishes. When I asked the waitress about it, she got loud with me and kept saying I ordered 3 meals. When we were finally about to pay she threw away MY leftovers that I just got done paying for, confronted her about it and she tried throwing a bottle at my friend. NEVER come here. The wait staff was nice but hard to understand and be understood. I had never eaten the cuisine so wanted an suggestion as to what was good. Only 1 out of the 3 dishes ordered by 3 people in the party was just OK. For the $60 spent it should have been better. I could not believe it cost me $2 for a bottle of water. It also cost $2 for a warm can of soda. If you want to try African cuisine go somewhere else. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Beware of the bugs! Overall delicious food. A bit pricey (17-20$ per entree) but not bad. Free pool and fusball are featured in a small, well lit side room. The music is a bit loud, but you can hear each other at the bar still. I was gonna give this place a 4/5 because I like the hole-in-the-wall feel (and the good food)! But when I was almost done eating, I saw 10-20 brown, beetle-like bugs crawling all over the bar counter, napkins, walls, and clustering at the ceiling. This was disgusting. Because of the bugs and my doubts about the health code being passed, I gave it a 2/5 despite the good food. Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I had the vegetarian combo and everything was tasty. Most were pureed but I prefer them to be a little chunkier. The injera was study, fluffy and had a good sour taste. Not much ambiance and it'd be nice if there were more bar options and a bar menu. The music was too loud, like they're expecting you to not want to talk to your friends and date... So I guess that could be useful haha. So far this is my favorite late night food spot in the area and I'll definitely be back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Excited to finally try this place. I got the veggie combo and LOVED it. I think they puréed one of the lentil sides and it was a smooth, creamy, and orange in color tasty sauce. I liked that they used fresh jalapeños in the warm food too which gives the food such a nice flavor. All the veggies were delicious and different flavors. It was so aromatic! I did take out which was a good choice because music was kind of loud. It was literally only men there but looked like they were all having a good time :) my server was nice, I think her name was Alem.

Where ever I want to eat some special food, i never go anywhere else and I recommend all my lovely friends if you want to get some special dinner go to the Fidel restaurant!!!!!!!!! . To me, I can't explain how much I love their food. As the best people there too. Fidel is one of the best restaurant ever I had. I Love Love love food there.......

My first time having Ethiopian food. Great experience! Habi explained everything to me and made great suggestions! The food is amazing and the portions are huge! I will definitely be coming back to this place!

I have mixed feelings about this place. It's a restaurant that wants to be a club. They have a pool table, bar, a DJ (with music that's too loud for people having dinner), and instead of typical tables they have "lounge-y" chairs and a small, low table. Place was kind of sketchy, too and the service was spotty. I was having a pretty bad time.... ... and then the food came. Oh my God was it tasty. And they don't skimp on portions, either. Loooots of meat. Decent price. This place should drop the whole "club" thing and just stick to the restaurant part. If I come here again, I'll probably just get the food to-go. I probably will come here again, though.

The place tries to be a club, bar, and restaurant in one open space. Music too loud, people play pool right next to the bar and where others eat, others smoke at the back door keeping it open and you’ll get the smoke in your face. Service is poor. You order a beer and the owner goes out to shop for it, they carry little choices, and almost no local beers or drought. The place is not fit for anything, I don’t know how it passes health and safety inspection.
