Excellent food, fast, and good service. I had the Alex's tacos. They really are delicious and the cebollita is a baby onion that's been grilled. It's delicious with the tacos, would recommend a bit of the onion and then the tacos! Lime on top, was the perfect addition. They are a bit oily because of the ground pork, but it's up to personal preference. Very quaint and small authentic Mexican Cafe. Service was spot on and kept our drinks full and made sure we had a great experience. Food was very Good and flavorful. Would recommend. To everyone. The food is OK. Asada Relleno was good and the steak was medium as ordered. But the rice seemed to be a bit tasteless. Salsa at the table did not seem to be fresh. Chimichanga with steak was fine. Alex taco was not as tasty as advertised. The menu did not have as many options as other mexican restaurants in town. There were no sea food (except for the fish taco). About the service, it was fine; maybe a little slow for the number of people that were there. About the restaurant, good decorations and nice outdoor seating area. Went out for a birthday party and it was the best restaurant to go too! They have great food and the service was amazing! Roberto our waiter was really kind and gave us the best service I have ever had! Would definitely recommend this place and would go there again!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Most of what I ate had an off flavor that I couldn't identify. Compared to other places in the area, the chips and salsa were about the worst I've had. I don't know what it was, but the salsa tasted really off (the mild and spicy were both this way), and the chips themselves weren't much better. For what it's worth, my wife thought they were fine, although nothing special. When my entree arrived, the rice was hard, and the pinto beans had a strange taste to them. Unfortunately, I also had a burrito which had the same beans inside. I had an enchilada with the flank steak chipotle and that was OK. On a positive note, the Diet Coke was some of the best I've had, and the chorizo taco was quite good. My wife had a tamale that was very dry and dense, but she did enjoy the fried fish tacos she had. Although the menu is very large, I found it oddly lacking compared to options offered elsewhere. No chori pollo (chicken, chorizo, cheese), or pollo el rey (like fajitas, but with chicken, chorizo, potatoes, onions, and jalapenos). Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing. There may be good things you can get here, if you know just the right food to order. We used to come here pre-COVID and thought it was a lot better before. If you want some better Mexican in the area, I recommend either Huaraches Moroleon or Casa Del Mar, both in Urbana. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Very good food and excellent service. The only problem I had was with the check when it was presented. There were 3 wrong charges on the bill. The waiter was very kind when I pointed it out and did get it corrected..just check your bill , but overall very good experience..Amazing Tequila selection ...definitely a go-to if you're in the city and want a great Mexican restaurant..fairly priced Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Guacamole Grade

I haven’t been here in awhile but we decided to come by tonight for an early dinner. The Alex Tacos are the usual specialty here and they are indeed good. The grilled onions have a lot of flavor. The salsa for the tacos has jalapeño and avocado and balances the seasoned ground pork well. I also think they make a killer carnitas that comes out sizzling still. The tacos Mexicanos were also delicious and full of flavor. I’ll be putting this back into the regular rotation. The carnitas stand up with most places I go on the west coast.

One of my favorite places to go for a casual good time and margaritas. The service is consistently good and they have an exotic selection of tequilas. A good menu for large groups and TV's in the back bar if you would like to watch a game.

Excellent spot for great Mexican food. The prices are fair and portions are large. I highly recommend their Thursday special of $2 off the Conquistador combo.
