The red chowder was very good even though I usually prefer white chowder. The clam linguine was pretty good too. The portions are quite big, although I wish there were veggies in there. The bread was over toasted and tasted a bit weird. I recently dined at "Fish" in Sausalito, California, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. On the positive side, the restaurant's atmosphere was truly delightful. Nestled in the scenic coastal town, it provided a wonderful setting for a relaxing meal with beautiful views. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the food. While it was decent, I expected a bit more from a seafood restaurant in such a location, especially for the price. The real letdown, though, was the service. The gentleman at the counter appeared disinterested and unhelpful when it came to making recommendations or answering questions about the menu. This aspect of the dining experience left me wishing for more. Overall, "Fish" offers a fantastic ambiance, but it falls short when it comes to both food quality and attentive service.
