I went to afternoon lunch with my Moko's while they were in Te Kuiti for the holidays. They ordered a range of food & the price was cheap compared to the majority of takeaways out there. We ate in as we wanted to enjoy the meal before heading to the park. I didn't see a toilet there, but I didn't look properly either. There is lots of parking around the building. The food was lovely except my oysters were a tad over cooked for my liking. There is also a lot of seating to be able to enjoy your meal. Cheap yet delicious assortment of a la carté meals. Best fish and chips u have to try.

Cheap as chips, excuse the pun! Much cheaper than city fish n chips shops anyways. Good portion sizes for the chips and fish. The 4 start review is due to the burgers. They are cheap but incredibly basic and dry. Hardly anything inside except the patty and a squirt of ketchup. Apart from that it was good

Great family owned takeaway. When I first came to Te Kuiti 5 years ago I was served by the owners son, whom looked like he was only 10years. He was very well mannered and served me well. Today, the kids are still working along their parents and is so humbling to see. Their prices are really good too...$5 for two hamburgers...now that is a fab deal! The kids clean and are always friendly and welcoming. The food menu is awesome too. You wont be dissapointed.

This is one of the worst Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of Chinese takeaways. I ordered the egg fried rice, sweet and sour fish, and a bag of prawn crackers. With my fried rice, I think all they used was 1 quail egg because there was BARELY any egg in it for an ‘egg fried rice’. The fish was pretty much just fish in sweet and sour water. And lastly I’ve never had prawn crackers so stale. I have no clue how this place has such a high rating. Folks of Te Kuiti, try and see how Chinese takeaways somewhere else, you deserve better.

I will hesitate to return. Cheap, maybe, but get what you pay for. I ordered a cheese burger with half fries and I have never been given something so substandard. The salad amounted to a teaspoon of lettuce, patty was reasonable, cheese was a token gesture. Half teaspoon of sauce and mayo. And somebody likely spilt the salt on my fries This place needs to up their game - maybe reduce the menu and do less but better Two burgers for $6 is more than they are worth Service was good and for that, I thank you

This is my favourite fish n chips store in the Waitomo District. Fish is always fish - good quality. Their shop is also quite immaculate and clean. Chinese food packs are great too. The owners are nice people. If you're visiting from out of town, please give them a try.
