The best comfort food restaurant in the Somerville/Tufts area. I’ve been there twice now and each time the portions are amazing for the price, food is excellently seasoned, and nothing was over/under cooked. I have tried the hot wings, fried okra, jerk Mac and cheese, jerk cheese fries, French fries, and chicken tenders. All were amazing and the best side of French fries in Boston by a significant margin. We went there for a birthday and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We hope to go back many more times. Ended up rating this as my top pick on Beli.

This place is the bomb! Everything was yum, well seasoned and fresh from the kitchen. The portions are fantastic for the price. Will be coming back to try more!

I've ordered from here a few times and usually have a good enough experience. I don't know what was going on today, but whoever was working was either new or didn't know what they were doing.
I waited 20 minutes before someone finally came to the counter and asked me what I ordered. After another 20 minutes I finally got food, but the order was wrong. I even showed up later than the expected pickup time. I then waited even longer to finally get my food.
I'd understand this kind of chaos if it was busy, but I was the only person there. My experience today is really making me rethink ever coming here again.

Amazing Hot Chicken Sandwich. Staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful. Chicken was perfectly cooked and moist and tender. Fries are wonderful and the gentilman working the desk actually held door open for me and helped me out with my rolling scooter from my foot in a cast shoe. Definitely give this place a try. You will regret the decision if you don't try it.

Love it, definitely coming back. I got the plantain balls with pork and the lemon pepper chicken salad. Huge portion sizes. Tried my partner's jerk chicken sandwich and it was not for me.
