The only thing that disappoints when you come to Fred Meyer is hospitable employees. Enjoyable service is something visitors like here. Both food and service made favorable impressions on Facebook users, and this place got the 4.9 star rating there.

Nothing like a trip to Fred Meyers. Had a employee stalk me the entire time. They call it the theft protection program or something, which I support and find probably works to a degree , but they blatantly target you and watch you shop follow you from area to area acting like they're working but they're really just stalking you. Guy hung out with me and my kids for 20 minutes while we looked at shoes another 10 in the kids clothing section. Good times. I was already feeling insecure about how my kids were dressed I asked my son to change his shirt before we left but he "forgot too" . The nice dressed and nice smelling people made me feel even more different or outcast and being stalked was really uncomfortable. It happens everywhere I go I have dreadlocks and wear used clothes. I just wanted to buy the kids shoes that wouldn't fall apart in a week. Everytime I buy from Walmart they just fall apart. Their selection of shoes was limited to loafers , steel toe sketchers and running shoe sketchers no snow boots not a lot of options prices were high but I feel like the quality will be good. Sorry i.m not pretty enough to enjoy your store for 30 minutes I typically avoid Fred Meyers but I had a voucher that dictated I shop there. .I wanted to point out that if I was greedy and liked to steal there's a good chance I wouldn't dress like this. Typically it's the pretty people that steal i.ve met a few of them. Ha ha boasting about how easy it is because no one pays attention to them. This biased choice of who your watching may be why you aren't catching anyone. Anyways. I spent 250 on shoes there today You're welcome I hope that the next time I am forced to go there that I don't find myself under belittling circumstances. Thank you.

👎SOMEONE IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB👎👎👎POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 👎Disappointing to go to this store for the second time recently when NO motorized scooters were charged. As a caregiver my patient can't walk due to a surgery. I went in one side FOUR scooters were ALL dead, tried each one repeatedly, all not even one green line, I tried each one separately. I went over to the other entry SAME, three of the four scooters 100% dead, one had two green bars, very low charge but we gave it a try... very slow through the store. Kept beeping as it's dying. We tried to hurry. Not one associate asked if they could help. Interacted with the self checkout employee about my card... The scooter is beeping loud enough everyone can hear...Not one word, no offer for assistance. Nothing. What happened to BASIC customer service? It was obvious it's dying, continuing to beep, not even a little sympathy like, hey can I grab you another cart. I literally had to push my client to the car in the scooter because it was barely moving. Upset because this isn't the first time! Last time same thing, the only scooter available was barely charged and I pushed my patient out to the car. Someone should check the outlets or who isn't doing their job. We were there to spend money but trip was cut short.
I bought a HP refurbished ink cartridge for my printer. It did not work. Same model # as the OEM HP cartridge. They would not let me return as it was opened. Poor service. Will be avoiding Fred Meyer from now on.

Don't count on getting anything you actually ordered in your deliveries. We signed up to their reasonably priced delivery program for 1 year. Even with our "free" deliveries, I will never use this store again. I've never once this year received a correct order that I can recall. I ALWAYS mark everything as "do not substitute" because I am admittedly picky about what brands, sizes, etc., that I buy. I frequently also leave additional information to help them if there may be something specific they can pick as a substitute. Apparently, nobody who picks groceries cares or reads. I always find unacceptable substitutions in our deliveries At least they're consistent in their cavalier, non-caring attitude and delivery. Always bad. And talk about delivery! Insta-cart rocket scientists are also consistent. They consistently bring our many bags of 100 pounds or so of groceries - and consistently place them smack up against the door. Of course, now you can't open the door because it's blocked shut with all those heavy bags. We are elderly disabled, and with my walker, I can tell you it's extremely hard to push the door open enough to reach around and try to pull bags out of the way. Not to mention, in case of emergency, how dangerous it is to block an outside door. What freaking idiots!
Just wanted to give a shout-out to the friendliest and most helpful cashier there is- Steve! Always thankful for Steve being so kind to my kids and being helpful with any questions I may have.

Went to get a toy that was in stock per the website and it didn't appear that they've had it for a while. Now will have to be out tomorrow trying to find. Quite annoyed.
Great selection, prices can be high on certain items but friendly staff. I love that this can be a one stop shop for a lot (most) of your housewares, grocery and general shopping needs.

I stopped shopping there because they force you to use their self checkout ( where are your cashiers?) The problem with your self checkout is your machines don't work worth a darn and they argue with customers over every little thing. Frustrated you just give up. Charging customers for getting cash back? It's my money.
Terrible prices, deceptive deals and a bunch of the self check out machines are broken. You aren't able to enter your club card and scanning items sometimes gives you the wrong item. Horrible waste of money.
