After seeing American Military Museum, it may be a nice idea to visit this bar. The Irish cuisine is on the menu at Freeman's Pub. According to the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve nicely cooked fish, fish & chips and salads here. Order good stout, craft beer or whiskey. Musicians make live music in the evening. I’m from Texas. Stayed right across the street for 3 nights for a wedding. This place never disappointed. All 3 back to back visits were so much fun! Great vibe, great music, karaoke nights was a blast. Bartenders took great care of us! If I ever visit NC again I will definitely come back!

If the bartenders where trained to be able to make drinks and they served good food it would be a good place. No food and both bartenders had no idea how to make drinks. Band "Mixed Gen" was good. Price per person $20–30

I have always loved this place I hadn't been in a few years but I went Saturday night Brad the owner has always been awesome and I met the bartenders Megan and Sarah so sweet and they do such a great job and the customers are so friendly it's like you've known them you whole life love Karaoke everyone sounded terrific the different variety of music I loved it I could hang there every night if I didn't have to work I love the place I recommend to everyone Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a great spot to grab a drink with friends or to meet new people. Saturday is karaoke night, so much fun! Don't miss out on this Gastonia gem.

The bartenders and live band are great. The food is awesome. And you get alot for the money. I will definitely be going back and I live 2 hours away. But when I'm in town. This is the place to go if you want good food, good drinks and friendly atmosphere.

Not sure how this place gets so many 5-star ratings. Maybe locals trying to support the establishment? Or maybe an off late Friday afternoon visit for yours truly? Won’t embarrass the bartender by using her name but Hall & Oats have her covered. Very unfriendly, aloof. There were just three patrons in the place including me so she could have spared a moment when asked how things were. Beers on tap were an ok selection. It could have been just your usual suspects in a place like this (Bud, Miller, Coors Yeungling), but they had a craft selection (Sycamore) and a Belgian (Stella) so points there. No Irish beers though, so taking away a point. It is an Irish bar. One reviewer said the beer selection was “dismal”. I’d just call the can beer selection limited with some interesting choices. Photos of the place suggest food. Maybe it is due to the pandemic or labor shortage but don’t count on food presently. The place is run-down. I’m giving this place three stars because many are having a hard time these days and no sense running an open business into the ground. But, I won’t be going back, and three stars is a little generous.
