We had dinner here at the bar before a concert at the Opera House. The place was packed the service and food were perfect. The manager floated expertly through the room like a conductor and it’s obvious he helps his staff in just the right way. Food was amazing and came out of the kitchen in a normal amount of time despite how busy they were. Can’t wait to be back in Waterville to eat here again. The ambience and setting is cozy, which definitely drew me in with high hopes. The drinks and appetizers were good, but our server was less-than-attentive, possibly due to being seated on the actual hotel lobby side (we had made reservations earlier, and weren’t staying at the hotel). This was only an issue when my “medium” burger came out incredibly rare and cold inside, and I had to just be okay with it because our server only checked on us 30 minutes after we received our food. The others in my group raved about the fried chicken, which I admit was very tasty, but beware if you’re sitting closer to the hotel lobby side, you may not receive the best service!
