Went there in Dec 2019 on its opening day. The queue was too long so I didn’t get a taste. Came back 4years later the queue is gone but I think it’s due do they made sufficient quantities and streamline process. Toast is cute as it looks on the pic. We did not bring a slicer knife so had to peel it. Toast tasted was unexpectedly good. The inner was moisture and extremely soft. Soft , chewy with weight and not fluffy weightless type. I’d recommend it for sure. The only problem is how to properly slice it next time, lol. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Read about this bakery and really wanted to give the pan a try! Initially thought it could be just another tourist gimmick but the bread does taste different. The texture especially. Soft and moist. We also tried the matcha pudding in a cup. Definitely good quality matcha. Best is it's not overly sweet so you could still taste the matcha. There is only 2 outside seatings so if you go, it's more for takeaway rather than dine in!

The shokupan tastes sweet but stiff and not fuwafuwa at all. Pudding was alright, cute for the color but flavour doesn’t match the dessert. This place is mostly good for cute pictures

We were able to visit this place in our 2 day stay in Lake Kawaguchiko of our 3 week Japan trip! And it was delightful! Pretty looking products, and the taste was good! We tried their pudding and the kids loved their bubble gum flavored pudding that made it look like Mt Fuji. We also ate their fruit sandwiches and shokupan and all was good! We had the seasonal bread which had strawberry jam and chocolate and this was really good. Also had a matcha pudding which was not bad. Pricing for their stuff are slightly above what we considered the norm but to be expected in a touristy place such as Lake Kawaguchiko.

One of the best puddings I've ever had! Though the fuji looking pudding (soda flavour that tastes abit like floral bubblegum) is good, their original pudding really hits the top of my list. It's not too sweet with it's caramel, and really so so so tender and smooth. Even smoother than Silken tofu. Really a simple, yet amazing dessert.

Please don’t buy the bread it is just normal and the shape make it like Fuji Mountain 😂 The pudding must try!!!! I like Green Tea and Vanilla😍

Very dense bread. Instagramable colours. We bought a loaf and it was a good snack for our long drive.

While there are no seats available, there’s plenty of space to eat in front of the shop itself. The Fuji bread is fluffy and yummy to have especially when paired with butter (it’s like normal bread but has a slight sweet taste to it). I’d recommend the ice cream though!
