Nice spot just a cross the road. Funky Monkey gives a vibe of a bar in the Maldives . Very big, spacious and colorful. The team is great, helpful and all has good vibes 😎. We visited in a Sunday which was a bit slow but we enjoyed because we had loud kids.They oberes portable baby chair that is attached to the table which is really good for a child who just learned to seat than a wild one who is about to walk. There was ample parking that secluded the restaurant from the direct road. Across the restaurant is the shopping center including supermarket and bank. The food was very tasty but small portions. I found the Menü abit expensive for an average spending per person . There popcorns are so tasty and different from what I have ever eaten. They tasted more of coconut. Before coming to Diane I researched the best bars on the Island. When I saw the reviews here and the photos of the food (I work in gastronomy), I had no doubts about where to go. However, I was surprised by the empty place :( on a Friday night (22/09/23). The place is very pleasant, the service was perfect, as for the food, the chicken should have been a little more cooked, it was delicious, but not cooked enough. I came in for drinks and apps as I wasn't particularly hungry after a heavy lunch. My server, Ian (from Nairobi), was excellent. Friendly, warm and accommodating. I take 1 star away because I made the mistake of asking the lady that appeared to be the hostess for the WIFI password. She was very cold and unfriendly. I should have just waited to ask Ian who more than made up for the ice queen. I had a couple of cold Sand Traps and later settled on Chicken Satay sticks. If it wasn't so late I could probably have had 5 more plates of those. Also, the peanut Satay dipping sauce in itself was delectable. Highly recommend 👌🏾. Kudos to Ian for his fantastic service! I loved how the management involved themselves in the service. (This gave the service a top notch) Something I noted: Some tables were offered bitings while others were not. Above all, I loved their burgers, super scrumptious! I loved the bartender (did not get his name) he helped me with my cocktail order and I loved it. Also this was a first time to have nice chilled olmeca tequila shots and I loved the overall experience. As for the overall service, I'd rate it 2.5 as the management overall got involved and made things run smoothly. I'd visit again.💛 Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
