The owner was very kind. She managed all only by herself, so you have to be patient a bit. Really love her fresh soba and dessert so much. Must try Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Simple and yet tasty hot soba. The desserts were fantastic, especially the Matcha fruit ice cream! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Such a memorable experience. Patiently waited outside before it opened. Felt the impeccable Japanese service at this small restaurant. It could only seat 10 people max and there’s only one staff who does everything — which she did everything in perfection. The food was amazing. The soba was very simple, but so fresh and tasty. And of course their hearty anmitsu was the best I ever had. 💜

The furnishing is in Japanese style, and the ambiance is very cozy. The restaurant owner is nice and helpful. We tried the soba noodles and the red bean soup dessert. Highly recommend taking a break and enjoying the view of Lake Kawaguchi in this lovely cafe.

A great small place run by the kindest Japanese oba-san. My friend is Japanese so there were no issues with communication, but for those who cannot speak Japanese there was an English menu provided. I expected a long wait since the restaurant is run by a single person, but we actually got our meal within 15 minutes of ordering. We got a very generous serving of hand-cut soba noodles. The broth was absolutely divine. There were yuzu peels in it which made the broth very refreshing. It was topped with wakame seaweed, Japanese green onions, and horse mackerel. We then got a very large serving of anmitsu. It had many different varieties of fruit that were so incredibly fresh. Beneath the fruit was ice cream, sweet red bean, mochi dumplings, and water jelly. I hope to be able to go back soon and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

A treasure find!!! Serves very delicious desserts at very wallet-friendly price points. For those that carve for something heavy, they do serve only one meal and that is herring soba, and amazingly, it is delicious too!

Charming and quaint. This little teahouse/Cafe sits right on the edge of the south side of lake Kawaguchiko. Like many of the reviews pointed out, there's one person running the whole shop. Stop by for the Anmitsu, it is sublime.
