Amazing service. Friendly owner and Chris-Marie, the waitron, was really helpful and attentive. Their ribs were extremely tasty, especially for someone like me, who had been a vegetarian for 16 years before I recently started eating meat again.

I am a coeliac so I can’t eat gluten. The staff at G&T were so great when I was asking questions about what the food contained and when I did order a bunless burger, our waiter very kindly delivered a salad in place of the bun, which I was so grateful for. The food was very tasty, and the portion size good. My husband had butter chicken curry which he said was very good, and was such a substantial portion that he could not finish it. We hope to return.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner at G&T. The atmosphere and service was great. We were there during loadshedding and the generator was running to ensure that service continued throughout.

This was our second visit to G&T's Bistro since it opened. The interior decor has improved, with a pleasant cosy sitting area with armchairs, but the floor remains cold concrete. The menu has become even more meat heavy than before, without a single fish or vegetarian main course, excluding the Greek salad and rather insultingly named "leaf eater" pizza. The aforesaid has to be one of the most cheese-heavy pizzas I've ever encountered, and a definite no-no for anyone who eats a plant-based dieter. The "meat eater" pizza was similarly over the top with toppings, but at least it was meat rather than cheese. G&T's Bistro may be adequately catering for the tastes of its local customers, but visitors from further afield will be disappointed.

My pizza was REALLY good. Lots of toppings and lots of flavour. I ate too much but it was worth it! They were playing some nostalgic 90s music on a Thursday. I have been here before and will be back.
