This has been the best service I’ve received during my time in Madeira and all of Portugal! The 2 servers we had were outstanding and extremely friendly and outgoing! The food was also incredibly exceptional!!! I had the grilled scabbard with banana flambé and it was some of the best fish I’ve ever had. As someone who works in the US service industry, I cannot recommend this place enough. Highly highly recommend!

We have been in Madeira for 2 weeks and this was the best lunch we have had.
Seabass w/mixed vegetables and sweet potato as well as a octopus salad. The seabass was cooked to perfection. Very tender and nice crispy skin , amazing.
Likewise the octopus salad was very good with a lot of octopus.
Really enjoyed this meal.

Octopus Salad
Amazing restaurant located in a very nice part of town. We had a grilled fish that came with complimentary sides, and grilled squid. Both dishes are so fresh and very nicely cooked. The service was personal and welcoming. We had a fantastic evening dinning here. 80 euro for 3 people are very fair prices for the quality of food and the hospitable services.
My only feedback to the service team was on choosing which guest on the table to try the wine before serving. We came as 2 girls and 1 boy; our lovely waiter chose the only boy in the group to ask him to taste the wine before giving us the full bottle. Nothing wrong with the old gentlemaness😉, but it would be really lovely if the service team included the ladies into the decision process, too. Just ask who wants to try the wine would be perfectly fine😊
200/200 will come back again if we are in the island again and will recommend everyone who visit the island to eat in this restaurant ❤️

Charming place with good quality food. With a help of the waiter we ordered skewers of fishes of the day and steak. Dishes had excellent dressing and amazing wine sauce with the meat, however steak was too chewy for my taste. Fast service, reasonable prices.

The best restaurant in the area with strong community feeling, extraordinary food - on special request Tuna tartar was so far the best meal we have had in whole Madeira. Beautiful table wines, always fresh fish, chef who is doing miracles in the kitchen and then the staf! Our biggest kudos goes to Daniel - or favourite one, Marioscar, Carlos, Hugo - went above and beyond with recommendations, always bringing so positive vibe and community feeling! Highly recommended to everyone!

That was one of the best food I've ever ate! I really love this place. There Is a very nice lady, that speak English very well, so do not worry about ordering. I very recommend trying a grilled chicken from children menu(it will blow your mind, it's amazing!). I give it five stars.
