It is a wonderful lil cafe by the road to Queenstown from invercargill. The customer attention that they give is really sweet. It's really affordable. I found the place really cute. The food is delicious and the attention to detail is amazing. The staff is really friendly. If i lived here, this would be my go to cafe. I had heard that Global Byte had new owners, and that there cheese scones were the talk of the town, so we were keen to go try it out. WOW! What a transformation. Can confirm the Cheese scones were scrumptious, the coffee was next level. My omelette was light and fluffy, very generous in size and delicious. There was a great variety of food sweet & savoury in the cabinet or off the menu. The staff were friendly and cheerful and the cafe has a fresh new look and laid back feeling to it . Best mocha I've had yet! Breakfast was amazing! We had the all day breakfast, wedges & salmon bagel. Have returned several times since and service has been consistent 👌🏽 Pics are same meals & mochaz but different days. Have become a regular. Keep up the great service guys! Spacious, large selection of sweet and savory baked goods. I loved the moist Belgian waffles drizzled with maple syrup, yogurt and berry compote. Mocha was excellent (though I’ve yet to find a place in New Zealand during my visit that doesn’t serve excellent coffee.)

Lunch for 2. Toasted sandwich (big thick one with loads of filling), seafood chowder (tasty, creamy, not obvious chunks of seafood, but was very nice, came with a little bread. Add tea, and a smoothie (which wasvery good according to my husband), and a pice of fudge $47 bucks. Staff were lovely and food deliveted in a timely fashion. We went here for lunch on Sunday.. We found that the food was very average.. The end of the sausage roll was hard and dry, the toast sandwich was sprinkled with an unusual sauce, and there was too much seasoning in the bread filling. So it Took over the taste.

The food is okay, nothing earth shattering. The service is good. The lay out of the space is a bit odd (it's quite cluttered )Overall Global byte is fine. I do wish you could get a boring ole sandwich for when you are in a hurry but there is nothing like that available. Great food and even better front of house staff. Brilliantly made coffee. Lovely people here that give you a warm welcome and know how to make a good coffee. My ham, cheese and onion omelette was also very good.

Great coffee here this morning! Young man behind the counter was actually dancing when I came in it's nice to see people happy in there work.
