Food was delicious, I had a party of 15 and we all ordered a variety of different food. Patty melts, Philly cheesesteak, smothered fries, sloppers, wings etc. For a Sunday during the Broncos game we were able to get a table as well as really good service. Waitress was a little flustered as she was possibly the only server working. No fault to her for the 3 stars on service, I know she did the best she could & people just aren't wanting to working causing a lot of short staffed crews. Overall, very enjoyable time. Will definitely return here again. Restaurant and latrines were cleaned and well kept. Utensils, condiments and everything needed was well stocked. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Being almost the ONLY open food shop down South Victoria Avenue wife and I decided to jump in. Not too crowded for a midday Summer Saturday afternoon and at first glance, YUP you're typical Bar and Grill - Nothing Special.. Has inside and outside seating areas. The place looked clean and we were welcomed and seated pretty quickly. We sat inside. Wife had the Reuben (she said it was good and juicy) and I had the Philly. OMG, be forewarned. The diced Pueblo Chili is HOT. I couldn't eat it and I can tolerate spicy stuff, but the cook must had gotten over zealous. /SMH. Our waiter and service was REALLY good. he was VERY kind and took it back and had the cook redo my philly with no questions. THANKS. However, this new sandwich was NOT good. REALLY dry and it looked like the cook got mad and just threw it back together. The fries were 1/4 size of a pencil and overcooked. Men's bathroom was really bad. We won't be going back. The food is always good. Over priced of course. If you have time to wait then your good. To get the food to you takes a while. But you can have a choice of many beverages while you wait. Atmosphere is good. Gets a little loud sometime but, it's a saloon that serves food. All part of the experience. Again, the food is great. Wait staff is also great and knowledgeable. Recommended
We used to love Gold Dust. The haystack fries were amazing, the green chili was pretty dang good on the “Thunder Humper” and the rest of the food was good too. Last time we ordered, we got the worst, frozen, unseasoned, curly fries with bland chili and inedible burgers. Sad. I miss the good food. I hadn't been to the Gold Dust for about 7+ years, and it was HORRIBLE!! First of all, when we got there we waited approximately 15 to 20 minutes before we were even approached and asked for drinks, we were not giving menus, and then our waitress came and asked us if we were ready to order. Well, how can we order if we do not have menus!? So secondly, we waited another at least 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, I ordered coffee and when our waitress brought all the drinks she did not bring my coffee I waited approximately 7 minutes, and then went and got a coffee cup from the bar and poured my own coffee! When our food arrived, I had ordered the soup and grilled cheese, and what I remembered the most about the gold dust was the potato soup. Well, what a disappointment that was it was lukewarm at best, and my grilled cheese sandwich was cold. We had ordered some cauliflower for an appetizer and it was horrible the amount of seasoning that was on there was just ridiculous, the girls with me ordered a basket of fries because hamburgers do not come with fries over there nowadays so which was very disheartening as much as you pay for a burger that was mediocre at best. The seasoning on the curly fries was so bad that the girls ate, maybe five fries from the entire basket. One of the waitresses who we later found out was the manager came storming from the bar to the kitchen which we were seated very close to the kitchen hollering about her customers come first and something I don't know and she appeared to look directly at our table as she was stating that. Needless to say, we were pretty upset that she appeared to have been directing her statements at us after all of the problems that we had already had. She never once before her hollering about her customers coming first, did she even come to apologize or try to make things right with the issues with the food and I thought that was a little unprofessional as far as a management position goes. She tried to offer us a gift card to make up for it, and we told her that that was not acceptable because we would not be returning ever! She did ultimately wind up comping our order, which we were grateful for. However, it was really disappointing to look forward to something that you remember and it being totally disgusting. The only thing that I would say is get it together, Gold Dust!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The Gold Dust is one of those places in Pueblo that if you didn't know where to look you would miss it. The atmosphere is bar like in the evening but in the afternoon it is perfect to bring kids into. The BBQ pork pops are a wonderful appetizer but if you get a what a night! Burger be forewarned it may be more than you bargained for in terms of size. Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Had the Philly steak with melted cheese, green peppers and sauted onions. Today it also came with green chili strips. Absolutely wonderful. The draft beer I got suprised with was infused with chili. It was a spicy beer. The wife had a slopper (a burger covered with green chili, cheese and onions.) Green chili was mouth numbing, but she ate every bite. Service was as the place was packed for the Chili Festival. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I took my sister and family here for her birthday and we were sadly disappointed. For appetizers we ordered mozzarella stick and nachos. The mozzarella sticks were not cooked all the way so it was like eating a solid chunk of cheese. We asked for the nachos to be covered with hot green Chile which was an option but the Chile was not hot at all and they were the most bland nachos I’ve ever had. The chips has good flavor but that was it. I ordered the fish and chips and they were okay but a little more greasy than most. My nephew ordered off the kids meal and was suppose to get a free drink but ended up being charged extra. We were seated outside and it was a nice day so we stayed to visit for a while as it was a celebration and the waitress couldn’t even bother to clear and plates, even after she collected the money. We had fly swarming our table which made it even worse with all the food plates still at the table. Not a very good first experience.

I love this place! I have for a long time. But now they picked up a new employee since the last time I was in. It's been a while so this was my first time meeting him. His name is Nick, and I must say that I LOVE this place even MORE now! His great personality and assiduous service is the unmatched. Bar none. ASK FOR NICK if you go!
