My two sisters, my boyfriend and I didn’t stay at Gold but we had three wonderful dinners there during our vacation. We cannot thank the staff enough for their kind hospitality, they were truly so welcoming, tentative and friendly and made our nights at Gold so special. Top notch service! We tried both ala carte as well as their extravagant buffet and all the food was excellent, especially all the fresh seafood. I’d highly recommend this restaurant/hotel to anyone looking to stay at Kendwa. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

They tell you your credit card charge didn’t go through so they can run it again to double charge you. Its been several months now. Better to not give them your credit card. We also got sick from the fish. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The food is average, like a spread is served as a compliment from the Chef. Undoubtedly, the service is at a very high level. They cheat famously on the course if you pay in shillings. Meal type Dinner

Trash. This is the spice island... where are the spices?! The service is scant - rude and scarce, wait forever to just get a water - something they don't need to make, and longer for a cocktail. The food was terrible - fries were burnt and raw (how does one do that?), fish was rubbery, everything else was bland. Also no one wears masks for covid - no staff, no guests too. My son got sick from the food and was in the toilet for days. This place is as terrible as the resort that runs it.

We had an amazing honeymoon here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was great and the food was amazing. Best holiday I've ever had in my life!
