It was my first time ordering from here after some friends recommended it to me. I was weary at first because i haven't found a good Chinese food restaurant ever so i wasn't expecting much. Was in search for a new Chinese place after our last one changed ownership and the food changed. Went with the reviews posted and must say I agree, The food is excellent at the Golden bowl. Wait time was a little long but it was New Year's Eve and a lot of orders were coming in. Will definitely return. This was my go to for Chinese food, always great food, with excellent prices. The flavors of the sauces the original chef made were so flavorful and smooth, I miss that. While the new chef does great, I do not think it will ever be the same. Michigan lost a great chef and a good man when he passed away. I will still eat here as the food is still great and the service is excellent! I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for years since i lived on 21 mile rd. Condolences to the family of previous restaurant owner who passed! 🙏 Although they are under new management the quality of the food is still great! This restaurant is amazing. I'm a paramedic and stop here whenever I'm in the area for some delicious food. Today my partner and I placed our order and got a call shortly thereafter. It happens every once in a while due to the nature of our work and we are kinda used to it. We told the staff that we won't be able to pick up our order as we got a call and got into our ambulance getting ready to leave. As we were punching out the address in our navigator they ran outside with our orders and handed it to us. This act of kindness absolutely made our day and now that we are done with the call we get to enjoy our food. We just want to say a huge thank you to the amazing workers who made sure we got fed.
