Stopped for a couple drinks and a quick bite on Black Friday. The hot pepper cheese balls were a good snack. The drinks were really great pours. Not fancy, but a great place for refreshments. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Wish I didn't have to post this but yes waitress was nice food was subpar burger was very bland and not good at all unfortunately maybe it was the cook they had that day! Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

First time back after 15yrs. The atmosphere is the same great old school dive bar. The burgers, fish and chips and beer are the center of attraction as it should be. The joint is small therefore the service is good. The fish and chips was excellent, but a favorite one for me. The prices are reasonable for today's cost. Finally went after being told about it multiple times and it was totally worth it! Very cozy and homey atmosphere with a lot of character! The waitress was very enthusiastic and accommodating so we were very pleased with our time here. The food is delicious! The fried shrimp was perfectly breaded and the onion rings were crispy with a sweet soft onion on the inside. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We read a lot about Goldie's fish and were excited to try it. My husband ordered it and I had their Crispy Fried Chicken Club Sandwich. The fish was very good, but you know me - I'm all about the tartar sauce. It was also very good. My sandwich was excellent, but instead of bacon, they use thinly sliced CANADIAN bacon. And I didn't remember reading this, but the coating was spicy! And the kind that builds up - my, mouth was on fire by the time I finished my sandwich! We will definitely will return! Rudest waitress I have ever had. Terrible service, completely un accommodating. Claimed “you better know what you want because the kitchen is closing in 10 minutes”, at 6pm. Food was ok. Waitress demanded 20% gratuity and wrote it in herself. I do not believe she deserved 1%. She slammed drinks on the table. Demanded that we “remember” what we got if we didn’t answer her .5 seconds. And yelled at us to pass it down. She spilled drinks on our table and did not apologize or offer napkins to clean up. She also told us to “calm down” when we asked for the bill. It seemed she was offended by our presence. When taking our orders she said “read the menu” when asking any questions. She gave us one menu and refused to split the bill. When we ordered the bill she asked what cheese we wanted and said “whatever” and walked away before we said. We were nothing but nice to her but received scorn in return and terrible service in general. Would not recommend to anyone.
