Yet, from the very first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. The plump, succulent mussels were cooked to perfection, bathed in a fragrant broth infused with garlic, shallots, and a hint of white wine. Each mussel burst with flavor, a testament to the freshness and quality of the ingredients. And let's not forget the frites – golden, crispy, and utterly irresistible, they provided the perfect accompaniment to the savory seafood delight.

This was probably the best meal we had in all of Sweden. We had the fish stew and the raw Salmon and it was divine. Friendly staff too. You have to go!

The food here at this restaurant was very good👍. I you want to eat fresh sea food🦐🐟🦞, this restaurant is a good option. The desserts were also delicious 🤤.
But be aware/careful with the clear glass at this restaurant. I believe that they are old because they break easily. The personals said that it was strange and they believed that the is a crack somewhere but i didn’t see any.

After 20 days in Sweden and Norway, this was the first restaurant that started the invoicing process by asking for a tip. I felt like back in the USA - not in a good way. 👎🏻 We had the classic shrimp sandwich and fish and shellfish stew; both delicious. 👍🏻

When we visited Smogen very few restaurants were open. We asked a family that owned a summer house there. They recommended and in fact were on their way to have dinner there. After having dinner there we went there for all our meals. Shrimp sandwich is a speciality of Smogen it was awesome. We had pasta and burger and other dishes too but the sandwich was always ordered it comes in two sizes. Staff is very friendly and cheerful , mostly young girls. The ambiance is good , vibe is good and the location is superb. Mornings are very busy.

Cozy place with view over the ocean. Professional and fast service. The seafood was actually not better than other places I visited, but maybe it shows that the places I visited before had pretty good quality (I know many offer shrimps from Smögen). I would also recommend to book a table.
Stimulated by several comments shared by other visitors we decided to choose this restaurant for a relaxed dinner. It was clearly a good choice. We enjoyed every single dish we ordered. All very good and nicely presented. The staff was also friendly and professional. Just in case it is useful, we paid around 120 euro for a shared starter, two main dishes and a bottle of white wine. A little bit expensive but we still recommend it.
Unexpectedly amazing. The food was superb and the desserts were incredible. The menu is a bit confusing if you don't understand Swedish but the staff is super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to return one day.
The restaurants looks better on the inside than on the outside, very cozy with a fish shop next to it. The staff looked a bit confused at times but we were well met. We had the moule frittes, fish and chips, seafood soup and a seafood platter. The mussels were too tasteless, didn't salt it enough nor any flavor, and way too little fries. The soup was ok but nothing special, the fish and chips was probably the best cooked dish. Had a nice breading, fresh fish and some nice Swedish fresh potatoes. The seafood platter was the highlight, some shrimp, crab claws and crayfish, all tasted very fresh. The big drawback, too overpriced.
