Food is good but they cannot get an order straight. In training for 5 days in the area. They have not delivered the correct full order once yet. EDIT to add that they get credit or caring and making an effort to rectify things on our last day after this review. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had a solo breakfast there the other day, I ordered the "Grate Breakfast" which is their signature breakfast and although brekkie was alright i wasn't blown away. I would be lying if i said it was a bad breakfast cos it really wasn't but I don't know i guess i expected more, it left me wanting if that makes sense. What i didn't like was the bacon, it was very tough i could hardly cut it, what i enjoyed most about my brekkie was the pineapples & mint juice, i could have that again any day. The atmosphere is light and serene. European vibes. Breakfast was an absolute delight. Loved it. Fresh ingredients, plated well. Flavours are balanced. Will definitely be returning. Had the French Broiche, Mocha and a Grate breakfast. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

Where do I begin? Visited Grate Cafe on 23/04. Received a very warm welcome. The waiters were attentive. The setting is amazing. It's so peaceful. Kushaya umoya foreal. Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Drinks - 5/5 Prices - reasonably priced. R610 bill for 3 meals, 4 non alc drinks and 1 dessert When you get the chance, do yourself a favour and visit Grate. You won't regret it! Definitely coming back here soon😊 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch

Wow. I found this place.😍 😎 Tables on the street side. Fabulous. Staff Valentine is kind. Coffee also good.
