Passing by this town and someone recommended us this place. First time trying the slopper and it was really good! We also had the chicken fried chicken and it was delicious!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I wish I could give this place a zero. First I ordered an Italian sausage sandwich NO chili's. It came out with so many I couldn't eat it. When I told the waitress she just looked at me and walked off. My friend got the cheese enchiladas and the cheese was still cold in the middle. The waitress was so rude. All I can say is if you don't want to wait on people, don't expect a tip. Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The Slopper is amazing, so much so I came two days in a row. Did the half order the first day and did the full order the second day. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Green Chile Slopper

Iconic restaurant of Pueblo and the home of the Slopper, an open faced burger covered in the chili of your choice with an option for adding some really amazing whole-potato fries either on top or on the side. Onions and cheese were optional, but so good. The special of the day was the green chili burger, which wasn't lovely, delicious, and not of an Overwhelming Size. The portions were all reasonable (except for the portioning of the fries, but that was entirely understandable as they were delicious). They had a beautiful open porch for dining, lit with fairy lights, and everyone was far enough from each other to be really comfortable.
My family and I have been stopping here for years and this last time the food was great. I had the slopper, which was really good this time since the last few times I was there, and the other three had just cheeseburgers, fries, and a bowl of green Chile. The hamburger in all of the dishes was mouth watering and just fell apart in your mouth. The waitress was down to earth and very friendly. Had a great lunch on our family day out. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Green Chile Slopper
This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I wanted to sit outside but it was booked for a private party. So one of the owners, Carrie, set me up for takeout. She personally took my order and promptly brought it to me outside when ready. I had the slopper with green chiles, fries, and a bowl of green chili. The slopper was excellent, the burger a little dry but it didn't matter with all that glorious sauce. The bowl of chili was ok and the fries were top notch. And Carrie's great attitude just made it better. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.1.
Food was Awesome!! Great prices enjoyed the service as well :) Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is the SPOT for great food, service, and drinks! Ordered The Slopper added lettuce tomato onion, with a side of Green Chili Fries. It was amazing!! One bowl of fries split between 3 of us. Everything is cooked fresh. The prices are great!!
My husband ordered us the iconic slopper and I was so disappointed- fries were burnt and overcooked- they looked like someone’s leftover fries - refried- So disappointed!!! This is my first ever google review. The best part of the meal were the oyster crackers. It would be important to care a bit about presentation and ensuring your staff know how to cook fries!!!

Great local hang with lots of history and character. Savory food and drinks reasonably priced. Wait staff helpful and nice but spread too thin. Food was delicious, hot, high end diner level fare. Had the slopper which is an open faced burger smothered in pork green Chile and option to add onion and cheese. Hand cut fries on top or on the side we're delicious as well and the half order of fries was just right for one person. Was a beautiful day to eat on the outdoor patio so we did, and enjoyed the table under the shade. Parking is a challenge as the lot is small and didn't see any street parking. We parked in a nearby lot that was closed for the weekend. Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Green Chile Slopper
