Very friendly service and the food was ok. This is a small restaurant with lots of outside seating, very green. The tables are always near green plants and other interesting pieces of decoration. Sometimes I stopped to look at a few items, trying to understand what they were. Taking a few steps from the car park lead the visitor to the main entrance. It was summer and there were real grapes in the main entrance. The adults in our party had some baked potatoes and ravioli, the children had a schnitzel with fries. The visual impression inside the restaurant was interesting, dark brick walls, dark woden fruniture, curious decorations in a small room with fireplace, we were told it is used for cooking sometimes.

This happened during this summer and I decided to screenshot the location to remember to review it because of the experience; I only now found the screenshot, purely on accident, and it all came flooding back: A condescending and glacially-slow-moving lady decided to grace us with her presence and, though she showed how painful and unneeded she thought it was, finally took our orders. Plain water was refused us as we had to "order (overpriced) drinks from the menu". My partner ordered a dish with a side of potatoes but got fries. I ordered BBQ wings, which seemed like they were fried until there wasn't a drop of moisture left. I contemplated instead on eating the multitude of flies and wasps which swarmed the outside tables. If we weren't starved to death and unsure of when anything else came up (and if it was open), we'd have left. Hands down the worst experience we've ever ...experienced. I see 99% of the 5-star reviews are from local guides. Every other, actual patron gave it 1 or 2 stars. AVOID THIS as there are plenty of very fine establishments not 10 minutes down the road to Bohinj. I rue the day we stopped here.

Meat was dry and one part of turkey smelled like it was dead for quite a long time. All the meat tasted really bad. The mixed plate was also served with the smallest chickenwing I've ever seen in my life. And it was black. The prices are also really high. The service was bad. The waitress is unfriendly. The only things which were allright were the cola and the beer. You will pay too much for very low quality.

Cute place, very convenient when traveling between lake Bled and lake Bohinj. Awesome wild mushroom soup and great grilled fish. Right next to the railroad stop. If you walk across the railroad, there's a meadow with a little pond with cows hanging out there.
