We stopped here to have our breakfast.
We got some toasties and coffee.
They make their own bread, it is very fresh, soft and delicious!! Coffees were very nice also!
The service is excellent, very kind and friendly.

I got fish and chips my girl got a burger the burger was well presented as were the fish n chips she said her patty was hard my fish and chips was average nothing special my grandson had no shoes on he's one and wen we came out of there his feet were black from the floor. service I cannot fault very friendly this place hasn't been operating long so they will only get better over time I wish them the best of luck here in the kuiti

A great place with friendly, helpful service. Good coffee, and lovely, homemade food, including all the bread. Nice! They take pride in the food they present.
There's plenty of parking in the area, including a large space for trucks across the road.
Give them a try. I'll be back.

As someone just passing through after a wedding, I decided to stop by Grub Up Cafe for a quick bite. This hidden gem truly surpassed my expectations. The highlight of my visit was their Satay Chicken Toasty Sandwich. The sandwich was a delightful fusion of flavors, featuring an amazing ensemble of spices including Cajun and lemon, which complemented the chicken perfectly.
But the star of the show was undoubtedly the 'Fish of the Day' - a single piece of beer-battered fish. The batter had a unique texture, striking a perfect balance between crispy and light, without overwhelming the fish itself. It's rare to find such a well-executed beer batter, and Grub Up Cafe nailed it.
It's evident that Grub Up is more than just a roadside stop; it's a culinary hidden treasure, especially for truckies looking for quality food on the go. Considering they're only two months into their journey, the quality of food is impressive. If they continue on this trajectory, they're sure to scrub up nicely and become a go-to spot for locals and travelers alike. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quick yet delicious meal!

Such a lovely environment and atmosphere. Very polite customer service. Love love. Love food was delicious even got free kai . Recommend this cafe. When you are passing through Tekuiti Why not stop in and give this place a go. Lovely people behind the Counter 😉🥰

Literally the best customer service ever kind people and definitely well worth it the portion of food is beyond enough went home with take away containers the truckers meal was top notch HIGHLY RECOMMEND THERE BOIL UP PIES AND FRESHLY HOME MADE BREAD 🤌🏽 there’s no words to explain our experience definitely will be going there more often for dinners lunch or breakfast 💯

Owners are true kiwi legends! Cheerful and polite service, good food, and a good place to stop and have some food/drink. Will certainly come again when I'm in the area again.
