They surprised us - in many ways. Our waiters, brothers, while different personalities, had us covered from start to finish. Quido’s may look a little drab and unexciting from the outside but the warmth of the welcome, and enthusiasm with which they serve soon makes one relax. 28 December 2023...As a visitor all the way from Pinetown KZN, after a long day, I decided to have something with the kids at a family restaurant and Guidos Beach front met my expectations. When we had a medical emergency with one of my nieces, we struggled to get the ambulance but by the grace of God, The Restaurant manager offered to take us to St Dominic's Hospital, ensured that we get assistance before leaving. Now this is beyond serving customers, it is Humanity. Thank you so much to the Guidos staff members who looked after my other kids while I left them there until I came back from hospital. I haven't had such tasteless food in a while. Myself and the company I had had to throw so much salt over both our pizzas as well as the pasta. This is a good restaurant to bring kids to, but not adults who enjoy good food. We had to run around looking for a waiter, get our own menus, then search for the waiter to ask whether the food was ready or not. Horrible, we were even told there were no side plates for the pizza.
