The food, view, and ambience is worth going out of the way to enjoy a delicious Puerto Rican food. Ample parking and seating. Must try the cocktails. Interesting 'antique' and license plate collection. You can sign a Dollar bill and staple it to the wall. Highly recommended.

In a rare Sunday of “Chinchorreo” visit this place that my wife found on Facebook. The road is a little challenging but the weather was fantastic (no rain) and make it safe to arrive. It’s an authentic chinchorro with antiques decor( found a box with 8 tracks),old cars burried on the ground, the bar is an old car, a very fun place. Speaking of the food, the menu is simple,we start with the “asopaò de gandules” it’s was amazingly good(tasted like grandma made it) has this homemade flavors that make it delicious. The “bistec” was well seasoned, tasty and soft. The “carne frita” was soft, well seasoned, delicious to,we order the “guineitos en escabeche” as a side dish also delicious! All of our dishes reamind us home. Also the “pastelillo de carne” was homemade, tasty and delicious! (That’s why give it the 4 stars)When finished we take a little tour and enjoy the stunning views. Highly recommended, worth the trip.
I visit this place on May 21,2023. The road is a challenge but the view is spectacular and breathtaking. Take about 1.5 hours to get there from route 185. Narrow road… be careful. Food was good, service was very nice and piña colada (no rum) taste good! It is a Family business visited by motorcycles (clubs) music starts at 3:00 pm.

We had a fantastic time. We came across this place when we were just driving and taking in the views, waterfalls etc. We had stopped to take pictures and I heard the music and decided it was time to eat! We were here around 3pm on a Saturday. The waitress was super helpful with the menu and drinks were delicious. Our food came out in 10-15 min and it was delicious. Views from the restaurant are magnificent. Highly recommend this place
When in the area, one of the guaranteed stops is Flamboyan @ 5 p.m.
It's cool that the staff can remember our standard order after months. They are warm with helping us learn new spanish words.
This is one of the best kept secrets on the island.
Rumor has it they have live music on weekend afternoons. We've not seen this.

This place is located high in the mountains of El Yunque rain forest on the Canovanas,Puerto Rico side. I give the establishment 3 star for the nice layout of the property. I went there today and the place was close for renovations as per neighbor next door.
I visited this restaurant in my resent trip to PR. My sister found it as she was helping me with my "culinary trip schedule". After living in the States for over 17 years, you want to revive your "taste buds". We order a sampler that included: "sorullitos de maiz, carne frita, chicharrones de pollo, tostones, papas fritas, queso frito y pana en escabeche". They were all fairly good, but the sorullitos de maiz didn't make it. And those are a staple in our cuisine! The food was good, but nothing that would make me come back. Through all my "culinary trip", and ordering our beans and rice in every place, I have to say that I did not find them authentic, they lacked of some ingredients that are key to our cooking. The view was spectacular, and the roads scary (and I am from there!).
Hidden gem in the heart of Puerto Rico adjacent to El Yunque.
Views are spectacular, and food was wonderful.
Great drinks and reasonably priced beer.
We will be back.
