We went to eat here after a long day in Bentota and ordered traditional Sri Lankan food. The food was delicious and for 1800 LKR we got served a huge meal with a variety of typical dishes! The waiter was a gentle young man who was very interested in us and we had a great talk about our plans for the vacation. We had the sri lankan rice and curry. It was delicious and had so much flavor. It also included side dishes we had never tried before. The owners were delightful and showed us a booklet of the different ingredients used for the side dishes. Best rice and curry I have had in Sri Lanka ! Absolutely unmatched hospitality by the family. Hard to come across better service than this. Food was extremely delicious and seasoned perfectly. A small and humble restaurant right outside Taj Bentota hotel. The food was very tasty and prepared fresh. We were greeted warmly and the ambiance was welcoming. We really enjoyed our lunch there. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Stumbled upon this gem on our first night in Sri Lanka. What a lovely place and great food. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and she even had her son walk us back to our accommodation with umbrellas during a very heavy downpour. Definitely worth a visit.
