Nice and clean spot with small but perfect choices of breakfast. From muesli with fruits over pancakes to eggs Benedict you’ll get what you desire. I had the muesli with blueberries and strawberries. Lovely, bright and clean cafe serviced by people who really care (you can tell). Food and coffee were delicious. We visited in the middle of a power cut and they served us tea boiled on the gas stove and the tastiest blueberry scone I have ever eaten. They kept the vibe going until the power was restored and then went about servicing the backlog of coffee and food orders with cheerful efficiency. A neighbourhood delight! Lucky Nelson. We originally lived in Shanghai. My son and I are visiting from Auckland for the holidays. The space is large and the interior design is simple. The staff are very enthusiastic and have high vibrant. The menu is very simple, but every dish can feel the chef's heart. The bread is crispy on one side, sweet and sour and juicy on the other. The bacon is fried just right, not too much, not too little. The eggs were also fried to perfection. A wonderful breakfast to start a wonderful day.

I wish I had taken a photo of my meal today but it was so good I finished it all before I had a chance! We had eggs Bennie with salmon, added the spinach with preserved lemon and the famous hardy st hash brown. Couldn’t fault anything. Wasn’t our first time and won’t be our last. Tidy restaurant cafe with outside tables. Has a great reputation in Nelson. Had the butter milk pancakes, which were a great size. Lovely chatty staff, nothing was too much trouble. Coffee was excellent. Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30

Delicious Tasty Special ... black pudding was spot on and fried bread with the bacon and egg sarnie was perfection. Add in great coffee and service with a donut on the way out. Spot on everyone. Thank you 🙏
