The ladies restroom is dirty. There is mold growing on the sink faucets. You have to touch the paper towel holder with your clean hands to get one if it is not hanging out. The handicap toilet will not even flush the paper. The middle toilet has black mold growing in the bowl. We have shopped here since it has opened 30 years ago. Please clean the restroom!!!!!

The employees that work here do not know how to do their job. They have no clue how to even work the self check out when it stops and says help is on the way. They just stand there and look at you lost. Had to move to a longer line cause she was so clueless

It's a pretty neat local grocery store in Charleston. It's very similar to Pick n' Save and uses the same rewards program as well. Everything here is very affordable and probably one of the better places to go grocery shopping.
My experience here was fine as I was shopping. The employees had decent customer service. However, the cashier was extremely rude and condescending to me as I needed to do an Instacart order at this location for the first time. She consistently used passive aggressive statements towards me the ENTIRE time I was in her line. She first began by stating that me having an Instacart order was “holding up her line” while in the same breath also attempting to accuse me of stealing behind her register although she rudely said I needed to bag my own groceries. This seemed a bit like racial profiling to accuse me of such an action when an employee told me to come around the register and bag my own groceries. With this being my first time here, I would not recommend this store due to my experience with discrimination here and extremely rude staff. This was a very uncomfortable and troubling situation to experience such behavior.
We have been coming to this Harris Teeter for years and have had one of the best/worst experiences when shopping today. We checked out at one of the busiest times but our cashier, Richard, was so kind, made great conversation, and worked as quickly as possible. It was very unfortunate that other employees were being blatantly rude to him for not moving at their own personal/desired pace…in front of customers. He was the only cashier and bagger at the time; instead of offering help other employees were saying things like “he’s moving too slow” loud enough for everyone to hear. It was very uncomfortable for me and my husband as the customer but Richard maintained his composure. We will continue coming to this Harris teeter in the hopes to see that Richard and all employees are respected no matter how quickly they scan and bag someone up.

My Harris Teeter is my pharmacy and there entire team is Fantastic! Always professional and answering my many questions. I also purchase groceries from this store also. I appreciate all who work here. Thank you, Carl Wolff, III
A good grocery store. Everything you would expect a grocery store to have and fresh local produce. If you're in the area and need a grocery store this will fit the bill.

Was on a trip and just needed some sunscreen. The store was clean as usual and the staff was friendly helping a tourist find sunscreen. Haha thank you

The lady I had the unpleasant interaction with was very rude, and her attitude was awful. She seemed vindictive and hated the questions I was asking. I didn’t think I was rude nor did I have a pointed tone. I was just asking for help and had some questions. I didn’t come in when they were about to close either. I had come in an hour before they closed, and the store wasn’t terribly busy. It wasn’t packed or anything. It was highly uncomfortable, and she was incredibly rude.
Harris Teeter is one of my favorite supermarkets because they carry a solid selection of real food. I love the layout of the store, it's clean and it's easy to navigate. I appreciate how often staff have assisted me in finding an item. They are also usually friendly and almost always greet me pleasantly. They have super deals and customer friendly programs. I save a lot some days, and I buy real food (which people often think costs more). My only issue is that (more than a few times) there has been a mix up and price error at checkout, I've been overcharged for something, and I've had to go back to get it taken care of. But they are invariably great about doing so, and that matters. The fact that they are so good about resolving problems and making sure I'm satisfied goes a long way with me. It's one reason I am glad to shop there.
