Burger is quite tasty but fairly small. Chips are the thin sliced type, not fries, can taste the oil is not the freshest. Watermelon shake is pretty decent. Great view of the beach from the second floor balcony.

This restaurant has a very good vibe. I selected this for my honeymoon date. I wanted special decor for the occasion.
The staff especially Val were kind enough to bring my thoughts into reality.
Decoration was perfect and my better half was fully surprised and emotional.
Thankyou Val and team for all the support.
Pros :
Staffs are very friendly.
Food tastes very authentic and portion is decent.
Cons :
It felt little costly.
They don't allow your own celebratory drinks. You need to purchase from them.

★★★★ 4-star Review for Hightides Bistro in El Nido ★★★★
Hightides Bistro in El Nido left a lasting impression on me with its wonderful offerings and picturesque setting. The location, directly at the beach, was a dream come true, and the stunning view over El Nido bay made the experience even more remarkable. The option to enjoy your meal both inside and outside provided a lovely variety, allowing us to savor the breathtaking scenery while dining.
The live music added a delightful touch to the atmosphere, enhancing our dining experience with a touch of entertainment. Moreover, the staff's attentiveness and service were commendable, making us feel welcome and well-cared-for throughout our visit.
The food at Hightides Bistro was good, befitting the bistro style. While it may not have been a gastronomic extravaganza, it certainly satisfied our cravings and left us with a contented palate.
On a neutral note, I did notice that after the sunset, the door to the outside terrace was closed, which created a sense of separation. Consequently, the waitress was less frequently outside, impacting the overall experience slightly. However, despite this, I still find the bistro deserving of a 4-star rating, and I believe that with a small improvement in this aspect, it could easily earn a full 5 stars.
In conclusion, Hightides Bistro is an idyllic spot to enjoy a meal in El Nido, boasting a charming beachside location, a scenic view, and the delightful addition of live music. While there's room for a slight enhancement in terms of terrace access after sunset, the overall experience was highly enjoyable, making it a worthy choice for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in this beautiful destination.

We had the best time food and cocktails, plus live band was awesome. It was hot when we got there but they close the door and turn on aircon and it was great. And excellent customer service.

Service & atmosphere are fantastic, with live music, attentive staff, & fantastic AC. Happy hour cocktails (2 for 1 until 10 PM) are amazing, taste great, yet potent.
But the food is not so great. The ultimate burger with 2 beef patties (594 pesos, or $10.68 USD after 5% service charge/ 3% credit card fee) came with synthetic "cheese sauce" like one would expect on nachos at a movie theater, and not real cheese as the ultimate label would suggest.
But the worst was the shrimp pasta, which literally turned out to be 3 tiny shrimp, spaghetti, & oil for 518 pesos/$9.31 USD. I couldn't believe my eyes when this arrived at the table, as earlier in the day I had an actual fantastic seafood pasta with 6-7 shrimp, squid, much better quality & more filling for only 200 pesos at Maa's down the street.
In general we have been disappointed with food in the Philippines, having just come from Thailand & Bali, which each offer better food for a better price.
TL,DR: happy hour drinks - Yes! Food - No!

We've been here twice and it has great live music that plays western classics and modern songs. The food here is good too, I would recommend the ribs.

Its my second time on this restaurant and I ordered their Burger Deluxe and I would say it is one of the best burgers you could get here in El Nido. The patty is cooked and still juicy. and their Frozen Margarita is a real top-notch, came there on their happy hour. Well they have the longest happy hour in El Nido, from 4pm to 10pm...Would highly recommend!

Amazing view and then the service.... One of the employees reeked. I found a human hair in my food, which was snatched and hidden with a meek, sorry, and forgotten about. I tried to eat the food regardless, only to find out that under the topping, there was an alergen that was not mentioned in the menu AT ALL. No proper apology, no proper reimbursement as they still charged 90% of the price of the dish the full price of everything else AND included the full service charge wholeheartedly. All that after ordering drinks, starters, and main course for more than one person. Really looked forward to visiting again but not with that type of management. There are a lot of better options around.
