Situated amongst the rolling hills of tea plantations, hill cool restaurant and hotel is the most beautiful place I have stayed in Sri Lanka. The staff are unbelievably helpful and friendly, going above and beyond for me. To top it off, the Sri Lankan breakfast would be my best breakfast to date. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Hatton, you would be crazy to stay anywhere else. Can’t thank the team here enough !!
We didn't plan to stop here for food but we ended up having lunch. The food was delicious, the portion sizes huge and the price appropriate. Highly recommend anything "65" although we picked the chicken. Ask to be seated on the terrace, there's a lovely view of tea fields.
The food is super delicious. They are worth money. You get large portions for the money you spend. I definitely recommend this place anyone travel Hatton by Nuwaraeliya road.
An Ideal place to spend a quiet couple of days or weekend, or to have your food if you are traveling the Hatton - Nuwara Eliya route.|We stayed here for 3 nights. We just wanted to have a quiet stay for a couple of days without much activities. Choose this place since it was right on the Main road. So easy transportation too. Had a comfortable and relaxed stay here.|We called at 3 am to confirm our booking and they answered the phone promptly even at that hour. Easy check in without much formalities. Room was with a view of the tea plantation. Had a spacious balcony with 2 comfortable chairs. Bathroom is clean, spacious and had hot water. Room had a TV with cable connections. Room service is good and prompt. |We liked the food here - tasty, good portions (we are poor eater) and reasonably priced. |Staff - Mr. Ishaan and his team are friendly and offer good service with a smile. Service is also prompt. Everyone in the staff will ensure that you are comfortable.
It was almost midnight and raining, and I was looking for a place to have a decent meal while travelling to Colombo. I stopped the car upon seeing this restaurant, but I was not sure whether the food will be okay. We ordered Butter Naan, Paneer Manchuriyan, Sea food Fried Rice along with Paneer 65. The person who served me recommended that I should not order two Naans as one will be enough for me. It was the DEEPIKA PADUKONE of all Butter Naans. The look - perfect shape and size, the smell, the warmth, the taste; I felt like it was tailor-made just for me. It was the BEST Butter Naan I had ever eaten. Not to mention the outstanding customer care; the boys always with gleaming smiles while serving. There was this pleasant Tamil boy who served me, the name of whom I forgot to ask because I was too distracted by the deliciousness of the food, THANK YOU my dear, for the warm welcome and making me feel like home. The Coffee and the Hot Chocolate were overwhelming in quantity, display and the taste and the ambience of the restaurant was also very warm and welcoming. I hope to visit you guys soon, as I cannot take my mind off the taste of that Butter Naan. Please pass my complements to the chef and the owner too !
