I saw this place on a wedding photographers post on instagram. I was in the area so I decided to do a walk-in not having too many expectations in mind. The reviews online looked good and I was hoping to get a table. I waited for 20 mins and the staff was super friendly asking if we wanted drinks while we waited and answered our questions. Everyone seemed to have a reservation so I would recommend making one when you want to eat here. I got the focaccia bread with the whipped butter in the clam shell which was delicious. The butter lettuce salad which was light and flavorful. They mentioned the cauliflower dish was the most popular, but I will have to try that the next round. The pork pasta dish was also delicious, but the real winner was the gnocchi. It was small, but incredible. I will be craving it until the next time I’m in town. The only negative is the servers weren’t too attentive even when the night began to quiet down. Other than that I would say check out this spot! An enjoyable experience from start to finish. Staff were welcoming, attentive and kind. The food was inventive and incredibly tasty with the cauliflower chili surprisingly stealing the show. The atmosphere was cozy and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We definitely will be returning. There’s no place like HOME. A small neighborhood restaurant in an original home. Simple decor. Very friendly and efficient young wait staff. Delicious food and expensive well sourced Californian wine by the glass or bottle. A limited seasonal menu for me and a little on the ‘heavy’ side, but I want to go back in the Spring as it will change and deserves another visit.
