I wanted to love this place. We had reservations on a weekend so they were pretty busy. The interior feels homey. I loved the coffee but the food was mediocre. When the food arrived it was not hot and lacked flavor. Everyone was pretty friendly so the service wasn’t bad but I just wished the food was better.
Parking is not a problem they have a garage with plenty of parking. There are also shops and other restaurants nearby in walking distance.

Took myself out for breakfast here...had a wonderful experience! The waitress (I forgot to ask their name) was friendly,and prompt. I ordered cheesy grits, bacon, and hash browns! Everything came out quick (mind you it wasn't that crowded) and hot. The coffee was delicious,and the food was good! I wanted to try the gingersnap pancakes, but I'll have to come back some other time for those. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast with great service,and I'll be back again!

1000/10 wish i discovered this place sooner. Came here with my family on a Sunday and they were able to seat 7 immediately (which doesn’t usually happen) we all got different coffee drinks or hot chocolates and it was all tasty! Tried the breakfast sandwich and the churro waffles… out of this world!! Absolutely recommend. Our server was also super fantastic.

We loved everything except for the biscuit and pork belly. It was a little sweet at first, but my husband added some spicy sauce. That made all the difference.
Everything was tasty and the portions were generous! (Next time we go, we'll share 😊)
The coffee drinks were delicious as well.
Our server was attentive and friendly. And everyone working had a smile.
We will definitely be back.

In terms of food itself, I would rate this establishment a 3 rather than a 4, but there were several other factors that resulted in me giving a 4 instead, including their theme and the whole "believe in breakfast" slogan, the service my friend and I have received which was very hospitable, their various kinds of coffee which tasted very good, and their ability to keep with with so many customers with such a large menu and the variety they have with their food. Now I will proceed to talk about the food.
The best item I have had was the fried chicken and waffles, with a good amount of chicken that complemented the waffles very well. The gravy was also very well-made. The deviled egg sandwich had a lot of pickles which in some ways overpowered the deviled eggs' flavor, on top of the fact that the deviled eggs themselves were already underseasoned, so really it ended up feeling like a pickled vegetables sandwich with mashed eggs as the sauce. Some paprika in the deviled eggs may help. The pillow pancakes were large and thick with not enough cream cheese syrup, which tasted pretty interesting because I could taste the jalapeño in there. I think maybe having a small cup of additional syrup on the side would help because there were a lot of pancakes. Then the jalapeño and veg sandwich had a good amount of stuff to the point that one has to eat two pieces of bagel with a bunch of stuff on there. It tasted pretty good to me with a mixture of flavors that worked together. My friend liked it as well, but said that she was not greatly impressed, meaning it was good but not exceptional. Finally, the breakfast sandwich was mediocre, with the bagel as the best ingredient, unfortunately. The bacon tasted like it wasn't soft enough or hard enough, kind of like in between, and I would have preferred one or the other. The fried egg was very overcooked which resulted in the egg yolk mixing with the egg white so much that it was only a few steps away from becoming scrambled eggs.
As a result I want to stress that in my opinion, what makes Hope Breakfast Bar a worthy spot to visit is not the food itself, but a combination of various factors that result in its popularity. Like I mentioned in the first paragraph, the "believe in breakfast" slogan is really cute; they have a large menu with a good amount of varieties and good coffee; they create a good atmosphere for people to visit, have conversations, and in general have a good time.

It's such a wonderful place! We enjoyed the fun coffees, the huge variety of eggs, pancakes, tacos etc... lovely service to boot! We will most definitely be back!

While the service was fast, and the staff was friendly, I don't think I would eat here again. The biscuits and gravy was not good. The gravy was bland and not very creamy. The main flavor in it was flour. For a simple breakfast staple it was not good. My wife got the stuffed pablano, which also was very mediocre. Outside was overcooked, inside was undercooked. It was mostly cheese, but somehow in a bad way.

My first time and it was packed so prepare for a wait. They do take reservations but fill up really fast. The service and food was great but bring your patience cause you will wait for something at some point. Our waitress was kind and as attentive as she could be. Its a louder atmosphere so be prepared. Overall id still recommend cause the food was delicious.
