It was the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, with a hint of cinnamon that lingered on the palate beautifully. I could see myself enjoying this on a hot summer day, but honestly, it was so good I couldn't resist finishing it even under the February sun. Next, I ventured into the realm of caffeinated delights with the cafe de olla. This traditional coffee, brewed with cinnamon and piloncillo (unrefined brown sugar), was pure comfort in a cup. The aroma was intoxicating, and the flavor was warm, rich, and slightly sweet. It was the perfect pick-me-up without being overly strong, and the cinnamon added a cozy touch that felt perfect for the season. This place is a gem. I’ve driven by so many times not thinking much of it. I was in awe walking in… The place is great for coffee with friends, a quick brunch, and it’s even inviting to bring out the laptop and get some work done while enjoying a yummy cafe de olla. I can't remember how I heard about this magical place, but if you love horchata and you love sweet things this is the place for you! I had the flan frappe and it was AMAZING, my husband got the Horchata Iced coffee and it was AMAZING, whoever came up with the idea of a churro sundae deserves a novel prize. The ambiance of the place was immaculate, a perfect place to study, read, catch up with friends or have a date. Will definitely stop by any time we're in the area.
