The French Toast was TASTED SUPER GREAT!!!! I had gotten a side of home fries; they were great but could have been a little hotter... They were edible but warm... The small apple juice is great but for a guy like me I need a larger cup with a straw... Great place to have breakfast with family, your kids, or even friends. Breakfast and lunch, actually. Update 1-17-2024- Besides, the guy hacking up a lung. (God help me) The eggs benedict I got with the hashbrowns were good. It's definitely worth stopping by to try them for sure. Everything was well cooked. The hastbrowns were a tad crispy in two spots, but besides that, I really enjoyed this meal and would get it again. Well done. The staff here are all sweethearts too, very polite, and make sure you have everything you need for your dining experience. If you're anywhere near Connecticut you need to go to this restaurant. The food was fantastic the atmosphere was very relaxed and home like! Service was very slow. We were in the restaurant with 2 other tables and the waitress did not come take our order for over 20 minutes. The California Benedict came with very little avocado or tomato. Overall, I would not recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20

The eggs and home fries were good. The pancakes were terrible, overcooked and very dry. Considering the name of the restaurant is Hot Cakes I assumed their pancakes would have been great. Gluten free eggs Benedict and home fries (I got it on a gf bagel because I wanted more heft than toast.) It was all kind of bland, could have used more seasoning or something but otherwise the gluten free bagel was good and dense in the way you want a bagel to be.
