Authentic West African cuisine, I loved it all especially the fried plantain. My only thing is the oxtails could’ve been cooked just a little longer, just to make them tender otherwise, everything was great, but It was a little expensive. I have ordered takeout out from here several times and each time the food is amazing! I get the jollof rice with chicken and extra stewed tomatoes on the side, and peanut soup (I add crab legs to my soup at home) with fufu. I highly recommend House of Jollof if you crave traditional African dishes Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
New fav restaurant. Jollof rice is so fire. Their egusi is so fire as well. A must try. They deliver everytime. Very consistent. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Side of Fried Plantains
Update Nov 2023: they really can’t get it right with these plantains. I have ordered numerous times throughout the year, and they are hit or miss with being too ripe, burnt, or under ripe. The rest of the food is extremely good. Today’s batch was hard and unripe. I’d really love transparency..if the plantains aren’t right, don’t sell them. I Tried House of Jollof for the 1st time today. I ordered Jollof rice with goat, and a side of plantains. The positives: the Jollof and goat were DELICIOUS! The negatives: my plantains were burned (I threw them away after tasting), and I only got 3 chunks of goat atop about 2-3 cups of Jollof rice. In all fairness, my food was presented to me before being bagged to leave, but I didn’t realized the plantains would taste burned. I will 100% go back, but will most likely choose a different protein so I can have more meat/rice ratio, and ask for my plantains to be cooked less. Thanks for the experience. The food is nice with several vegetarian and vegan options. But a side of rice costs $5, and they don't have a proper dine in. We are in disposal silverware. Slightly expensive. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Looking for some African food today as we were driving around and came across this place. It’s West African and let me you, this food was flavorful and not over powering. I had the Jollof Rice with chicken and a side of Fried Plantains. Seasoned very well and tasty. My son and hubs had the Goat Soup with Fufu and very much enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly and the walls had some cool art work and African music videos were playing on the tv which set the mood. Two thumbs up and highly recommend! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
I had really high expectations based on previous reviews. I ordered jollof rice with chicken, plantains, and egusi with fufu which I shared. The jollof was ok. The flavor profile was very similar to red rice. I was expecting a bit more spice. I got some tomato stew and put that over the rice and it gave it the kick that was needed. The chicken was very dry. The egusi was good though I didn’t care for the fufu. I love fried plantains, but these plantains were disappointing. Not sweet at all and very dry. I’d been wanting to try African food so I’ve had the experience but with the price I paid ($37) I was highly disappointed. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50
It was a first experience in African palette. Really good spices and a taste explosion that really was worth it. The guy at the front was very helpful with suggestions. We went with Egusi, peanut soup and fried plantains. With sides of FuFu and seasoned rice. Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
