Nice place, gentle service, affordable, and the new menu was amazing, we got Benedict eggs and banana taco waffles, all the food delicious, our server was great, paying attention to details and trying to make us happy. Will update. IHop is normally a very quick and easy experience for us, however this morning was the exception. We arrived about 9:30am, with parking lot about 1/3 full. Wait time to be seated was quick, with no que present. Waitress was very awesome, however she was very overloaded with tables. Wait time on food was about 30 mins. Waitress did her best and was very apologetic, she was a Rockstar! Checkout was a disaster. Took receipt to register as we were ready to leave and Waitress was busy so couldn't pay at table. Cashier said only Waitress could cash us out, so we waited more. Cashier was eventually able to cash me out (paying cash), but other party with us was going to pay with card, so we were told we had to wait on Waitress to do that, unwilling to wait longer to leave, I had extra cash and just rounded up to the next highest round amount and left the cash with the bill for them to sort out. By this time, a large que had started at the door, and the staff appeared to be getting overwhelmed. This was likely a unique scenario, and our Waitress as well as others visibly looked like they were trying. Food was on point with IHop standards and delicious! Hopefully, the existing staff gets the help they need, as they really were trying! But, unfortunately our experience due to this wasn't the greatest this time around. Terrible service, the waiters watching the cell phone all the time and sending messages, they do not offer other dishes, it took more than 30 minutes to pay and the waitress demanded the tip from me, I left it just out of courtesy. We were seated promptly. My water for the tea wasn't very hot but Billye, our wonderful server, took care of it right away. Our food was very good and we didn't have to wait long. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30
