The service in this restaurant is impeccable. The plate with breads and toppings was on the house. When I indicated I couldn't decide between two sauces / preparations of the rabbit, I was offered to try both. And when I indicated I would like to catch a bus, my dessert was prepared extremely quickly, as was the handling of the payment. I could also see the staff being friendly and helpful towards each other, which is a very good sign!
They say this restaurant has the best rabbit - I didn't find it to be super fantastic, but I think that is because I don't find rabbit in general to be super fantastic. I am perfectly willing to believe that is just my personal preference, and that this was a high-quality rabbit. Be aware that the rabbit comes with bones, if you mind.
All in all, it's a fantastic restaurant, full of locals, operated by a great staff. A good place to try rabbit (or, any other local speciality)!

We ate dinner with our family and what we wanted was good Maltese food and we had an excellent dinner.
The service was excellent in both English and Maltese and they served Maltese wine.

Great family owned restaurant with lot of time and effort put into it.
If you want to try local maltese dishes, this is the place for you.
Fenkata and horsemeat made to perfection, all within reasonable pricing.
Service and atmosphere is great. We got a table without booking, but later in the evening booking in advance is a must.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Food is so tasty and delicious. Service is on high level and they have good selection of wines . Especially big thanks to waiter Sara who was there to assist in anything we requested. Don’t forget to try specialty of the local food - rabbit, horse meat and snails !!!! Definitely will visit again 😀

Great place to eat traditional Maltese food. Absolutely loved the rabbit, the quail and the octopus. Delicious and a fair price, very good for the quality.

Seating arrangements are normal, receiving normal, Bar is good, Interiors are simple & good, we ordered Maltese breakfast with crackers, the paste was good taste, then ordered Horse meat, it was completely black color, over boiled, next Rabbit, I asked to provide spicy paste, that was good. But the waiter came to me 2 times and asked me, am I done or not even though I was eating. Then I just stopped and went outside with food left on the plates, don't expect a few good & branded drinks

Looking for authentic maltese food, this one got it. Tried the Maltese special mix , garlic octopus and veal bragioli and all are very good. Their bruschetta needs work as it is a little soggy. Too bad quails and snails aren’t available that night. Prices are reasonable. Staff are attentive and respectful.

Amazing food, especially the quail is a must try. Also the burger was fantastic and the chicken nuggets we ordered were actual pieces of fried chicken and not shredded chicken. Very polite and proactive people as they helped us with the booster seat and even though we originally ordered it as take away we were able to eat it inside of the Restaurant. The interior was the nicest we've ever seen on malta.
This is definetly a must try if you're visiting malta and want to try traditional and most importantly authentic local food. Thank you very much.

Great service, friendly staff, abundant portions and good old Maltese cuisine. One of Malta's oldest fried rabbit restaurants and still maintains that which makes Maltese cuisine great. Long shall it remain so.
