Had the best bday dinner! I was so happy to be able to walk in with a group of 6 and be seated so quickly. The food was phenomenal!!!! I love a place that allows family style. Especially for a large group like ours. Megan was AMAZING! She was so formative and had the best recommendations. 10/10!!

Tomahawk Ribeye
Came to Jack's for our wedding anniversary. We made our choice based on previous reviews. Let me say, Jack's did not disappoint!!! It's a small place, with auxiliary outdoor seating if weather permits. I love the vibe of this place. The dark wood and romantic atmosphere make for a perfect date night or intimate eating. Our server Ryan was amazing!!! He was very personable and made us feel welcome as soon as we sat down. The cocktail menu was unique and had a bit of everything any conesuer would enjoy. The food menu itself is the perfect. I love how they only had a limited amount of menu items, to ensure the highest quality and freshness. We had the cipiano and roasted bone marrow for the appetizer. The cipiano was outstanding!! Very fresh seafood and the tomato sauce was very well balanced. The roasted bone marrow is what you'd expect from any great steakhouse. My only complaint is that the parmesan crust was a tad overdone and seemed to really overpower the taste of the marrow itself. To fix this I simply scraped off the cheese to reveal the beefy, uncious goodness. For the main we shared the 12 oz bone in beef filet. It was seared to a perfect medium rare, and the bone gave it a deep satisfying flavor reminiscent of an almost ribeye flavor and texture. The creamed spinach was delicious as well, simple and classic. In the end, if you're looking for a quieter, more intimate setting for your next get together, or if you just want to belly up the bar and rub elbows with your new best friend, come to Jack's Chophouse!!!

Had dinner at Jacks and it was perfect from beginning to end. Liz took care of our table and was flawless. I’ve never ordered a porter house steak, but we did and shared it between two people. The drinks were great and the steak sauces made from scratch are worth going for. We will definitely be back to try other dishes they offer. Get the table side tiramisu!

My husband and I went here for one of our honeymoon dinners and it was SO good. We got the 40oz Porter house steak, pumpkin martinis, wine, bernaise and parmesan french fries and it was to die for!!! We ended up coming back just two nights later to order the exact same stuff! A wonderful experience here and we will 100% be back. 10/10 recommend!!!! Theresa was a great server!!! 🤍

Fantastic service put on by the best restaurant staff in town! You can't miss the opportunity to dine at Fredericksburg's only chop house and best restaurant! We enjoyed the meatballs, wedge, porterhouse and a myriad of sides, which were all nothing less than phenomenal!
Our server, Teresa was so sweet and knowledgeable about the menu as well as a perfect bottle of wine to pair with the steak! Such class! My wife and I had the greatest date night!

Our group of girls had dinner here last night and it was a wonderful experience.
We sat on the patio and our waiter was Nick!
- the food was phenomenal. The bone marrow is a must try, one of the best wedges I’ve had as well, calamari was a perfect blend with the peppers! Our steaks were cooked just right, and I will say adding the bone marrow on top of the filet was *chefs kiss*
Drinks were great as well, we tried the sav blanc (perfect for sitting on the patio in the afternoon), and several other cocktails that were great!
The cheesecake with a honey drizzle was superb but the highlight was the table side tiramisu! I had never seen that before and we al enjoyed it.
I have to say this too, Nick was a great waiter! He actually went around and found a fan for our table and moved the music around for us as well. He was very attentive, knew when to approach and had great suggestions. We will request him next time we are there.
