This lovely restaurant is located in downtown Salisbury. Has a French quarter vibe. Very clean and welcoming. Had the lobster bisque and gator bites. Both were very flavorful and served hot to the table. The gator was a bit chewy. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. A little on the pricey side for lunch my bill ended being $42 including tip. I would return. On Saturday we came upon a jewel of a restaurant in Salisbury, NC. We tried a little of everything. And being from Louisiana I'm critical of any place that says creole lol! But I must say Jasmine's didn't disappoint. And the gumbo (seafood/chicken and sausage, beignets and Louisiana hot sauce reminded me of home. I dont drink coffee either but tried the vietnamese coffee and I must say it was delicious! While they don't sell the spirits lol feel free to bring them from a neighboring bar and enjoy with your meal! If you're ever in Salisbury, NC and want a taste of Louisiana, check out Jasmine's! This was probably the best waffle I've ever had! I got the chicken & waffles and it was delicious. The only suggestion I made was the piece of chicken used which was a leg qtr and it's not my fave. I was told this is the piece they always use for this meal. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable & I'd definitely get this again...especially the waffle. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the relaxing ambiance was appreciated. We chose to enjoy our meal outdoors as the weather was nice. My friends had the shrimp & grits which they also enjoyed but felt the serving was small. We will be back to try other dishes. The place is awesome. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.. Very clean. The food is delicious. It took me back to my mothers cooking.. Everything is well seasoned. The rolled ice cream is delicious.. Never had it before and I was very pleased.. You have to visit this place and eat the food.. My first time at Jasmine’s and I was very satisfied. I was eyeing a seafood omelette on the brunch menu so I asked if they could make it even though it was dinner time. They were more than happy to and the owners even came out to make sure I liked it. Truly the best omelette I’d ever had. My wife got the gumbo and it was excellent. A very delightful place!! Food is superb! Service is personable! Atmosphere, like you're at home. We tried the fried chicken, mac n cheese, and sweet potato casserole!! WOW!! It was the best meal I've had. Today I am trying the breakfast sausage and shrimp burrito as a take out order. Along with a Vietnamese iced coffee!! Yes!! They have espresso drinks as well!!
