Traveling for work this week, I decided to explore local coffee shops. Java Owls staff is one of a kind from service to quality of coffees that are made. My first visit left an amazing impression, I decided to come once more today prior to our departure. The coffee shop is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to lounge in. I really appreciate the atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. Highly recommend visiting and trying the nitro cold brew they offer. Wishing you all much success. Great coffee place to work remotely from; the internet was stabile, plenty of seating areas, not too noisy - the music wasn’t too loud that you can’t concentrate on work. Parking was plenty as well. And it was dog friendly too! My tiny little pup sat inside with me ❤️ Some of the tea drinks were good, some tasted very watered down - but the owner helped fix it. I’ve been here a few times and would come back 💞 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Very cute coffee shop with ample seating and plenty of parking. However, I was disappointed with the service and drinks. The barista, a young girl with short hair, was really rude. Whatever, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, but I received a drink that was mostly foam! Maybe an off day given that the reviews are stellar. Great coffee and friendly service. I came in on a quiet Saturday morning for some coffee and a light snack. This dog-friendly local coffee shop looked like a very warm and inviting space. The vibes here are amazing. The coffee's are consistently delicious. Inside has a cozy and comfy, welcoming vibe. There's even an outdoor section so you can sit outside with your furry friends when the weather is nice. I love coming here and even their food is solid. Definitely recommend grabbing a coffee here when you're in Clear Lake. 4/29 Update: Still one of the best (if not the best) coffee places in the bay area! I got a pour over and absolute loved it. The barista answered my questions about the roast and the flavor notes with passion and patience, and made me the best pour over I could ask for. We also got an oat latte which was perfect. The environment is also very cozy and pretty, and it’s a great space for working and reading. The absolute BEST coffee presentation!! Whatever you decide to take from the menu, you will NOT be disappointed by the visual beauty! Their frappes are DELICIOUS and lattes are wonderful. The people working here are so welcoming and hospitable, it can't get any better than this. Shout out to the owner for instantly recognizing regular customers and greeting them with a welcoming and acknowledging smile! Will definitely keep visiting! Edit: Everytime I walk in here, I realize again and again why this place deserves a perfect 5 star. It's so easy to differentiate this place from literally every other coffee place in Greater Houston. Very cute coffee shop with a nice selection of drinks and pastries. The environment is super very welcoming. It’s pet friendly so I had unexpected sneezing from my allergies but nothing serious. I wanted to try this place out and while there wasn’t anything inherently bad about the establishment, I don’t feel there was much about it that set it apart. The location isn’t great and it’s hidden in the back of a shopping center and comes across as the stereotypical “hipster” coffee shop, man buns included. Nothing against it but not my vibe. I stopped in for a simple coffee as a break from the typical chain location nearby. They only serve one size of coffee but offer an all day cup for an additional charge. The cup is the same size but allows refills for the day. While this is a reasonable offer I would much prefer to pay for a larger cup especially when on the go as I don’t plan on sitting (in one spot) and drinking multiple cups of coffee. The coffee was nothing special and still fairly high priced for what it was. If you don’t mind pricey coffee and are willing to dine in, this place is a fair option. If you’re looking to get a great cup of coffee to go, I do not recommend for the price and other competitive options.
