Excellent food and service, friendly staff. Greeted on arrival and made to feel valued and welcome. Variety of seating and sauces at each table. The menu was easy to follow and place orders. Takeout and phone order options available. Have had both dine-in and takeouts and the quality and prepared times were consistently excellent. I can see why they have sold 500k+ dumplings. Good portion of dumplings, I have beef and onion and chicken flavoured. They were very tasty. The service is average and can be done better. The ambience is casual. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Arrived near closing time (at 2 and they close at 2:30) but there was no problem at all. The waitress was very kind. The service was quick . Very well presented and juicy and tasty. Ordered Classic BEEF Onion Dumplings (12) , Jumbo Crispy Spring Roll BBQ Pork (1) , PAN-FRIED DUMPLINGS Juicy Pork w Cabbage (12) , a ginger beer $42,47.

I ordered this via door dash and was surprised how quickly it came. My order was piping hot and super fresh. The crispy bottoms were phenomenal. I am so blessed that you have vegan options! Would love to see more vegan flavors available

Nothing but positive feedback for this cafe. The flavours of these dumplings were delicious and reasonably priced too. Came up on Google maps as very good and it was. Good atmosphere. Relaxed and pleasant staff Food was fresh and very tasty. Choice was good with a special offer for free drink. We wanted other treats and really enjoyed our time at Jay's.

These dumplings are so juicy and YUMMM! I tried 1 of pan-fired pork&prawn and 1 of steamed juicy pork. Well, both were so good at reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Always delicious! They've got a large variety of pan-fried, steamed, and wonton dumplings. Vegan available. Great sauce variety. The atmosphere is casual and modern, great for a quick stop or a nice dinner. It seems popular for takeaway too.

Took my family here when we were in Nelson, the first time try this place, so glad we did! Amazing choice of foods, the best dumplings we have had in a long time, good value, good portions and excellent service. we absolutely loved it. Again!!! Friendly service, love the atmosphere. Great food, great place, and great price. Great place for dumpling, worth it. 100% recommended.
