Definitely our favourite restaurant during the whole month we stayed in Sri Lanka. We‘ve never eaten better food! They cook with a lot of love and knowledge. The terrace within their big and beautiful garden is unique and they make you feel like home from the very first moment. We can truly recommend this place! Thank you so much. The food is absolutely fantastic and delicious! This is the best place around, the prices are very reasonable, the menu is simple however it’s perfect. But the best thing is the owner, such a nice, kind and sweet person. We have been in a different places during our trip but been coming back here like 5-6 times. Strongly recommend this restaurant ! During our two-week Sri Lanka trip, we had tasted so many rice&curries and kottu rotis, but the ones from Jayasena were no doubt one of the best. Add super kind owners, relaxed atmosphere and you get the place that you need to visit if staying near Tangalle. Thank you so much for delicious dinners and we wish you all the best! I absolutely recommend this place! The food is amazing, with a lot of spices and full of different tastes. We had the vegetarian rice & curry and we got a huge portion of rice plus four different fabulous curries plus coconut sambal and papadam. We were so happy! The restaurant itself is also very nice - you can sit in a garden beside fruit trees. The owner is super friendly and we had a nice conversation with him. Go the this restaurant - you will not regret it!
