I was finally able to visit Kichi after hearing raving reviews. Food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was made with such care and detail. I loved it so much I didnt even leave a single grain of rice. Staff were very attentive, and the manager was also super helpful and friendly. This was by far the highlight of our trip. Staff were passionate about the food, and the care they put into even the utensils show. Plus, with the price of the food, you really can't beat the value you're getting here. This is now one of my top Japanese restaurants to dine at. What I really enjoy is you get try a variety of different dishes in their lunch sets, from ramen, rice bowls, and with dessert and incredible tea all included. The meal was so delicious I forgot to take a picture of the main course... As for the design of the restaurant itself, we sat in a booth with high partitions so it offered a good amount of privacy and social distancing. Overall, will definitely come back every month or two! What a fantastic Japan-origin tempura restaurant in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Exceptional culinary technique enriches fresh seafood and vegetable to a new level and artistic layout of dishes and dessert made dining experience luxurious and memorable. Personal services provided by house manager Vic Wen and his sommelier-level of attachment of sake with his food made this lunch wonderful and a place we would like to re-visit again in the nearest future.
