We were here after work and had dinner. I really like the food. The soups, the burgers, the main dishes, and the desserts are excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. We visited Jimmy's last Saturday for lunch with my wife's family and had an absolutely delightful time. Our server was a spitfire and incredibly attentive throughout the time we were there. Jimmy's has a great lunch selection and the food is MUCH more affordable than I expected for a restaurant of this quality and location. Most menu items are around $18 or so with a side. My French dip sandwich and soup combo was excellent and they serve up a great house-made Bloody Mary as well. We'll definitely be back! Everything was definitely worth the drive. I'm not from this area but am glad I decided to give it a try. Not only was yalls food great, Katie our server was amazing. That little lady was the life of our party. Great conversation, carried the most contagious smile and her service was one for the books. And my wife is such a critical woman when it comes to servers but Katie continued to make us laugh and was right on top of everything. Great experience eating here and will definitely have nothing but great things to say. Went for dinner on Saturday Feb 3rd with my fiance & his parents. Ordered baby back ribs; was so disappointed! I had read good reviews but on this night the ribs were served lukewarm almost cold & just bland, fries were cold & hard. If in the mood for ribs go to Famous Dave's. This was a nice restaurant. I ordered the shrimp appetizer, the beef short ribs, and the artichoke dip. The beef short ribs were tender and really yummy. The shrimp, on the other hand, were nice size, but the only dislike was they were pretty salty. The artichoke dip was yummy. I would still recommend this restaurant. A completely accidental visit as I was staying at a hotel across the parking lot and the desk staff pointed me towards Jimmy's as really the only sit-down option nearby. A really pleasant surprise. Classic chops/burgers/fish place with a nice vibe. The food was really excellent with some nice surprises in terms of dishes on the menu that push the boat out a little bit but not too much. Found this place on restaurant week and didn't expect much. Well... they exceeded all my expectations!! Our server ROCKED!! The restaurant was so comfortable and welcoming on the inside. My party of 6 was sat in a corner booth that was really large and comfortable. We were there just in time to make happy hour which included a number of drink options. The restaurant menu was large and we all ordered something different. Although, I didn't care for the walleye (it said pan fried but there was a breading I wasn't expecting) all of the other options were so delicious!! The Ahi Tuna crips were a fan favorite at our table as well as the strawberry cheese cake. The bathrooms were sit worthy clean!!! Very nice atmosphere and fairly quick service. Had the melon cocktail with some calamari and a BBQ burger with salt and vinegar fries. finished with a wonderful berry cobbler. I could not be happier with the quality of food they serve. Only negative is the price, but you get pretty close to what you pay for. For me and my wife we split an appetizer, had two main meals, one cocktail, one mocktail, 2 waters, a cobbler desert we split and a dessert wine.
