Staying overnight in Mineral Well, Texas and I must say This is by far the Best Chinese food I've tasted in Texas! If I could give a 10 star rating I would. Food made fresh! And leftovers taste just as good eating hrs later. I'm a truck driver and I hope I get a load coming through here again! I'd definitely return. i absolutely love this place so much. i live in lubbock now due to college and every time i come home i have to stop by and get my favorite food. i’ve tried just about everything on the menu from the sushi to my favorite beef and broccoli and it’s always just unmatched. the workers are the sweetest angels and treat you like family and i will always continue to return for this service and amazing food at such an amazing price!! thank y’all for giving us such great food in such a small town!!! so much love!!! On March 6th 2024 I ordered pepper chicken and Mongolian beef. 8 hours after eating I got very sick. I didn't think anything about it. The next day I ate the rest of my food and it made me sick again. I called to let them know and I didn't ask for anything, but just wanted to let them know and they didn't seem to care. You might not want to eat here unless you want food poisoning. Go to Ichibans next door . It costs a little more but the food is better and won't make you sick. Food is good, very adequate. The shrimp was very good and the beef was extremely tender. The flavors aren't quite the same as "every other Chinese restaurant". I enjoyed it. It seems like they're actually cooking this stuff and putting their own take on it. The side dish is definitely the biggest portion, which one should expect. I had the two entre plate and the amounts I got were perfectly reasonable when you consider the price. The service was fantastic. I was impressed. It has been a while, and it was good! Apparently, I'm one of the last ones to figure out how good Jin's is because it was quite busy! I had the Black Pepper Chicken and my daughter had Sesame Chicken. We also had noodles, butter potatoes, and fried rice as sides. We also had an order of Rangoons. It was all very good! Glad to know we have a very good option for drive thru asian food! I will be back! First time eating at Jin's since we've been in Mineral Wells for a year now. Fast, friendly and fresh! We ordered the Kung Pao chicken, vegetable Lo-Mein, side of fried rice and four egg rolls. Wow!!!! The portions were huge, ordered for two, but easily had enough to feed 4. For the quality, quantity and price you cannot beat Jin's Express, best Chinese food in Mineral Wells! I would have rated a 2.5 if I could. The food itself was fresh and tasty and I enjoyed it. My problem is the portion sizes. I ordered a 3 entree meal that came with a side (I chose rice.). The issue is that the side of rice (a full pound, I weighed it) was more than all the three entrees combined. I took a picture after I ate almost all of the entrees. I didn’t know there was so much rice at first, because one of the entrees was spread thinly over the top of the rice to hide the massive bulk of rice underneath. I won’t be going back here.
