After enjoying Lego Imagination Center, it may be a nice idea to visit this restaurant. Many visitors say that waiters offer perfectly cooked hamburgers, grilled sandwiches and bacon cheese fries here. Do not go away without eating good ice cream and tasty apple pie. A selection of delicious root beer is offered to guests. Great americano, milkshakes or chocolate malt are waiting for you at Johnny Rockets. This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the guests' point of view, prices are democratic. Save your money! Don't waste it here The burgers were like any other burger joint. There is nothing special about these burgers. Over-priced! The disappointment was the cheese fries. The fries were not hot enough for the cheese to fully melt, and they were not crispy. Cold fries. The root beer did not taste like a root beer, the syrup was probably scaled down. I had to buy some onion rings to replace the cheese fries. Best thing was the onion rings. Other store mall employees told me that the burger joint was great before, but then things when down hill. Eat here if you want to throw your money. Total cost for this lunch meal: $44.00 Five Guys price for 2star experience. The staff was not patient for me to place my order, I was looking at the photos, and she kept rushing me. Not customer oriented. Rude. We asked for a refill on the drinks, and she clearly told us, "Can you wait?" No problem waiting, but say it politely. Rude. She finally got better after I told her I do reviews. The food was acceptable enough. Nothing spectacular. I could have cooked a burger at home that tasted just as good, if not better. I think my friend's shake was the best part of the food. You need to buy the sandwiches/burgers and the sides all separately. No offense but those $10-13 burgers are not that good that they're worth that price... Alone. With the fries sure, but not having to pay separately. And then the food was served to us VERY haphazardly, so getting our entire order took longer than I feel it should have. We'd get a single side, then a few min later a burger, then a few min later another side, then a few minutes later we got two sandwiches, then a few min later another side.. and one of the sides was forgotten about entirely, and we had to ask for it. The waiter was nice though for the most part but.. if you can't remember then write it down? It was a very forgettable experience, especially considering it was almost $20 before tip for just my meal alone, higher than some regular restaurants I go to, for such meh food and service. Basic American hamburger, which admittedly is what they are trying to do, but they charge as if it's a premium burger. The route 66 burger has mushrooms that seem like they came from a can. Fries were good, but again hard to justify $4.99 extra for a side of fries when you're already paying over $10 for a burger. Mmmm. What a good burger. And the fries are great! And the shakes….oh such good shakes! The 50’s diner vibe is always fun and paired with some 50s swinging music. We make sure to get here every time we visit the mall.

They do not have any employees taking orders, everything is done on a kiosk or on your phone by scanning a QR code. I placed my order at the kiosk and was estimated to be completed in 19 minutes but 30 minutes later my order was not ready nor did any of the employees have any information about my order. An additional 10 minutes later my order mysteriously appears but the chicken tenders were not cooked completely and the fries tasted like they were sitting out for a quite a while. I highly recommended you find another dining establishment if you want edible food in a timely manner with actual employees that can make sure your food order is correct. This was my first time at a Johnny rockets. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. The service was good. The fries were absolutely delicious. The chicken sandwich was not good. The chicken patty was dry, stringy, not seasoned, tough and quite small. The bun, tomato, and lettuce were perfectly fine. A grilled chicken sandwich is one of my go to meals when I eat out. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. My burger was bland mush, my fries were cold, and overall it's outrageously expensive for what you're getting. I paid for my food, tipped well and picked up my food and proceeded to sit at one of their tables. As soon as I began eating the server came over and told me to move to a food court table which wouldn't have been a problem with me if he wasn't so rude about how he said it. Found "burger" heaven at MOA. My grandkids and I found this restaurant while looking for a fun place to eat at the Mall of America. We all loved it. Sitting at the soda counter was like stepping back in time. "The burgers were better than any eaten before" according to the kids. It's their new favorite place...shakes were made to perfection with all the extra whipped cream requests. Great service! The best...we will be back next time we come to MOA.
