The food is very good, and the owner is very kind and interested. I had dinner here twice, and enjoyed the fish soo much! Fresh gamba's, crab, red fish, and octopus! Salad and fries where also good. Food is more than delicious. If owner says to you that fish is fresh and he recommends fish - give it a shot. It's worth it. Mine was really great, with gentle garlic sense. As well as French fries and salad with ananas - surprisingly very, very good. Not to mention the atmosphere which is really friendly and cheerful. This is a simple but very cozy place. Those who love authentic and local establishments will find great food here at an affordable price. I really liked the fact that you can write to the owner on WhatsApp and ask to cook food. I tried to always dine at this place when I was in Negombo. This is a hidden Gem place for hangouts, kill time and enjoy (quick) food. I had a fish and chips and the portion was quite big. Ordered a lime juice and all cost only 2200LKR. I gave 4 * to food because the fish was bit smelly inside the batter and it had the skin if the fish cut as its bigger. Maybe more carefully cut type of fish might suit fir the portion. However, I overheard a conversation with a German old couple that restaurant can customise food requests by bringing fresh fish. Adjusent to this, there is a small shop, it seems it has almost all grocery needs for anyone nearby. Very foringer friendly area. Uber can pickme fleets can easily locate this spot. Great food, superrrrrrr welcoming, friendly and helpful guy! What a great lunch :) We were so full, but he offered us some lunch he’d made us for his family to try some more local food.
