The only spot in the area to go and have a few drinks. Be prepared though, the moment you walk out the door you'll be discussed and perhaps even mocked. Gossip is a big problem here and the owners are the biggest instigators. Prices for drinks are high. They like to close whenever they feel like it, so you sometimes arrive at dead man's door expecting them to still be open. They serve food and here I can only give compliments. Their food is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is not bad, but sometimes they just mess around with the music and the television too much. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Ate here yesterday, and had a great time... Anse was a super host, I would definitely go back! Very fun pub, all walks of life are welcome!

We checked the bar out cause we stayed at the backpacker next to it. Unfortunately they didn't had a chef there at that time, but we got some light meals and had a very good time drinking and playing pool. Unfortunately the evening had a not so happy ending as the owner put a lot more drinks on our bill than we actually had. After heavy discussions she calculated again and erased 4 shots from the bill but still - this is not how you treat your guests. I felt bad for the waitress who was not to blame for this. We still had a good time but next time we keep a better eye in the bill. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely stop-over on our way to Forest fewer farm stall. We were unfortunate and missed the chef. Back packers lodge in the background . Numerous customers arrived on motorbikes. Moorrees seemed to know all the locals that equally enjoyed Jungle Cafe Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
