Must try their twist flavor serve ice cream. I had the pineapple and vanilla flavor. Delicious dessert after eating one of K's Drive-In special of the week. Their mac salad was also good. Basic local/American fare diner with outdoor seating. Low prices for small or lower quality basic fare- good value. Had the Hamburger and fries- asked for thousand island to dip my fries and was really good. Basic small type ‘high school’ hamburger. They have a decent sized local menu for saimin, oxtail etc. They also make basic deli sandwiches. My buffalo chix sandwich was so vinegary I almost couldn't eat it, but my friend had a loco moco that looked delicious, with a side of mac salad. She liked hers, i did NOT like mine! Always nice to go and eat semioutdoors there though, they have a covered dining area with a view of the Hilo streets. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It is a lovely place to eat. People are friendly and warm. Just a mention: their food is just a little salty, it would be a number one if the salt was cut back a little. Otherwise this place is a place i love to eat at. Fast and friendly! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Been here for 4 days and this is the best food on the island. Hubby had fish n chips. Both were crispy and tasty. I had delicious yakatori chicken with spot on Mac salad. Very simple, cheap food. Hard to go wrong when pretty much everything is in the $7-9 range and it all tastes good. Fast service and outdoor seating here. The sauteed ono could've passed for sit-down restaurant quality, so it's not all dive-y kinda food either!

What a local would have I guess. Korean Chicken and Loco Moco was good! A bit on the salty side for me though. Friendly staff and cheap! Finally.. Im not getting ripped off as a tourist. 26-May-2019 - Second visit. Still awesome.

Today was my first time coming here... I was in the neighborhood and decided to drop by and try something new. I ended up getting the pork adobo, and it was soooo good and the prices were all very reasonable, especially given the portion size. I will definitely be going back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I hate to rate it but I honestly was disappointed at the size of Loco Moco. It's so small for $10. Not much gravy, the patty taste weird, like reusing oil, and the bacon is not cooked too well. I had a stomach ache right after. But it could change if I had it served in a different time. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
