Read reviews about this place and checked it out. Owner Johan met us at the door, made some recommendations and we were very satisfied. Enjoyed the bokkoms pizza (best out of 3 we tried on the Weskus) and kerrie mossels with roosterkoek. Went back to buy the mussels & hot sauce and will return for more when in the area again! We had the normal cinnamon pancake as well as a pancake filled with milktart (really). Both were delicious. We also had really nice strawberry milkshakes. They even bake milktart filled jaffles. There are a few different main meals available but it is all around R120 or more. Kids' meals cost more than R60. Local produce (from frozen meat and pies, jams to wooden cuttingboards and art) is available in the small shop. Wine available but must be consumed on the premises. Lovely little padstal! Lots of delicious food options and coffee with condensed milk! They have roosterkoek (must try) and a milk tart jaffle (haven’t tried it, but it’s definitely for next time!). What an amazing place and awesome people. Beautiful setting. Friendly, efficient service. I had the Salmon cheesecake with veggies. O. M. W. Magical melt in the mouth. My hubby had the Vegetarian burger with chips. Delicious. A must to visit when in the area.
